People used to train at Gobby / Squids / Grims.
why those places are so dead now?

 

Because leeching is way better and Dreamy Ghosts have better spawn and layout. Also, Ulu City maps are much better with thicker spawn and way better drops.

 

You could always go there yourself and not have to worry about securing a channel like at other places.

 

This is why no1 ever sees me grind (;

I love the ludi training spots. Death teddies and Vikings have a super cool map layouts that are fun to navigate. I'll always luv gobay and skwid tho :')

Back in middle school, I would freak out if I got a Steely drop because they were worth like 15m which was a lot of money back then. People sold Smega services for 1m.

 

I used to sell my steely in perion ch1 lol

 

I was one of the first to go with a lightning bolt first build and grind at Rets in Ludi Tower, although I did go to Drakes every once in a while to change it up a bit.

 

I remember back in 2008 I made my first char in GMS. It was a fighter. I grinded at Perion well into the 30s. Quaint little area called Warning Street: Deep Valley I. Anytime I could I would log on and kill Perion monsters, but only in that first portal. For some reason I felt bound to Perion because I was a warrior. That was back when Griffey spawned in the bottom of that portal. Anybody remember those "fake Griffey" spawns during the 3rd anniversary? XD

I remember back in the pre 3ja era the mindset was cold beam first unless you want to be in florina beach for your whole life lol.

My training as an ice/lit Mage was slime tree>pig beach> ant tunnel/shroom tree> jr celions> Hidden street florina map> red drake/tauro cold eye. Ludi didn't exist yet and there was a level 100 cleric somehow (probably hacks) named Stephen who I watched magic claw crogs to death for fun.

Providing freeze in werewolf parties was also a thing and that's how I earned my Thorns which made me officially a "pro" back in the day lmfao

 

I rmemer stephan cleric.
No hacks , he opened a sin and got to 30 in 1day which is sick in old times.
Fucking lvls 70 in red drakes,perion ch1 was fm.
