Hey, just heard from a few people that you dont get the deputy star if you turn in the quest items to lisa through the normal quests, and i just turned in a bigfoot toe and pumpkin (but i dont have any proof :C) Anyways I didn't see a suggestion page, so in the new source i'd like to ask you to disable the NLC quests from lisa, and just keep the one that actually gives you the star. Also, if there is logs of quests completed (which i really doubt there is) can I have the toe and HH head back? Thanks~
If I remember right you would get a dep star from that quest once only, since the dep star part shouldn't be repeatable So I think you are safe to turn in the quest items if you haven't done that quest before.
Sorry, are you saying to turn in the rest of the items through the individual quests? If so ill make sure to screenshot it lol.
from what i've understood, you need to turn in every quest Lita or whatever the sheriff's name is, and once you've done all that you get the deputy star, not just the bigfoot n headless ones, but also lucky charm & other thing quest
Yeah, Its just that I heard from multiple people that the only way to get the star was through the dialog that takes all the items at once as apposed to the individual quests. Anyways, ill test it out and update this post to make sure that assertion was correct.
I'm fairly sure that you don't get a Deputy Star even once from turning in the normal quests (even though in real Maple, you would), because I remember people who have turned in all the quests complaining that they did not get a Dep Star. While you're welcome to do the quests for experience and as a quest completist, if you want the Deputy Star, I'd play it safe and go with the custom quest hidden under "Lost in Translation".
I thought you would get it the first time. Any chance that quest can be disabled or removed since it has no purpose then. Srry but pls <3 @Matt

You can be refunded if you make a character issue, as said above by Egonics (assuming you haven't already). A staff member can check the database to see if that quest has been completed and confirm the refund from there.
"no purpose" I like turning in HH heads on noobs when I dont have enough toes to accompany them personally. The heads cant be used for anything else and they're much easier to get than toes are.
yeah, right now im just getting the rest of the items so they can just take the charms/soiled rags for the deputy star or something, these server checks arent helping though lol Maybe changing the quest name text with a warning would do? And changing lost in translation? Like maybe just add a *DOESNT MAKE DEPUTY STAR* to the end of the regular quests and a *MAKES DEPUTY STAR* to the lost in translation text option
