Hello everyone So I'm making a Night Lord, and my goal is 11.5k hp at level 175. I know the budget is currently not enough for the whole process (I estimated it will cost 4.5b-5b), but I'll get more money while I go. Now the question is, what will be the best int gear to buy in order to get the maximum amount of int with 2.5b budget ? Thanks in advance !
My advice is to spend a minimal amount on actual int gear, and build up some base int and mp wash. Long story short, you only need ~500m on int gear, spend the rest on resets. http://royals.ms/forum/threads/how-to-mp-wash-double-wash.18158/ http://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-reference-table.17093/ I'd estimate you'd need around ~450 washes (5400 mp above your minimum mp) worst case scenario (16 hp per wash) to get to 11.5k by lvl175, for I think ~4-4.5k base hp at lvl175 for NL? ~400 washes for an average of 18 hp per wash. Let's say you put into base int up until lvl55, and have roughly 240 base int, with some in dex/luk. You will gain 24 extra mp per level and 24 mp per AP you put into MP from leveling. Leveling to lvl90 will net you 210 * 24 = 5040 extra mp from leveling and AP, assuming you don't add more int and you add all AP into MP. Of course, I'm not calculating the mp you will get from leveling up to lvl55 while adding into base int, or the effects of any int equips affecting the amount of mp you get per level (equips don't affect mp washing). Also, you still have until lvl 175 to get more mp as well, so you probably only need to do this to around lvl 80 or maybe even lvl70. If you do it until lvl70 then you have 90 * 24 = 2140 extra mp, leaving you 100 more levels to gain roughly 3000 more MP. with around 60 int in equips at this point (240 base + 60 int gives you 30 extra mp per level), you could just ignore mp washing and gain the mp through leveling. The last method would be 311 AP resets for resetting the mana and int, and ~450 resets for washing. 60 int in equips is easily doable with 30 int zak, 15 int robe, 5 int earring, 8 int wand, 2 int w.e (spiegelman, mask, glove, YSS). The equips would run you around ~500m if you're buying zak helm. Of course the last method also means you're lugging around 240 base int for a while, so you might want to mp wash until lvl 80 or lvl90 if you can spend the extra money on resets so you can reset your int faster.
Hello, thank you for your reply Let me share you with my calculations, so you can get a better view of it: a Night Lord should have 4,712 base HP without any washing at level 175. 11,500 - 4,712 = 6,788 HP to gain with washing. Assuming I'd get 22 HP on averege per wash, that means 340 washes. Each wash costs 12 MP, therefore I'll need 4,080 (12 MP * 340 washes) extra MP by the time I'm 175 in order to reach my goal. (4,080 / 155 = 26.3) which means I'd need 260 total Int from level 25 to 175 in order to achieve enough extra MP. Assuming I can get about 75 Int from gear at level 25, reaching 260 total Int with also better gear on later levels, should cost me something like 170 base Int. So, the total cost would be about ~510 AP Resets, which is 4.3b with the current cost of AP Resets. I'm not including the Int gear in the total cost, since I am going to resell it afterwards. Of course, this way is alot longer and will take me 175 levels in order to achieve my HP goal. Since I am still not too sure about how the MP washing method works, I would be really grateful if you could use my calculations in order to get an estimated cost and the level when I'd achieve my goal using your method. As I mentioned, with my way it would cost ~4.3b (Assuming AP Resets are 8.5m and without including the Int gear which I will resell), and the level when I'd achieve my goal would be 175.
Important thing to note is that HP/MP gain per level is also variable, meaning you may have to wash more or less, depending on if you have slightly more/less than 4,712 hp, and less than/more than your minimum mp naturally at lvl175. Also, I'm not sure why you divided by 155 when 25-175 is 150 levels. In addition, you won't have 260 int from lvl25 onwards, it's impossible if not extremely difficult. You have 129 available AP at lvl25 (9 at start + 120 from 24 levels), 25 of which will go to dex for the job advancement. You'd need to make up 156 int in equips. Your costs will be higher than your estimation as you will need more base int to make up for it later. Okay, here's a breakdown...let's start at lvl30, with 133 base int and 25 dex. Let's say by lvl52 you have 243 base int, and 77 int from gear by lvl30 (2 int extra from spiegelmann at lvl30 compared to your 75 at lvl25) for an even 310 total int. Also from lvl1-52, you've gained ~600 extra mp from leveling as you add into base int (240/20 * 51). Actually, if you leveled up to 175 with this amount of total int and hp washed with level up AP, this would be about the amount you would need to get 11.5k hp being about ~4,500 extra mp (31 * 125 = 3875 + 600 = 4,475), allowing a little lee way if your washing goes less than average. So you're gonna have to increase your initial estimate to ~580 ap resets (239 for resetting int, 340 for washing hp). So this is my estimate of your traditional hp wash, at ~4.9b with 8.5m/reset at ~lvl170. Now moving onto mp washing. The thing to take away from mp washing is that it's not going to be cheaper, but it's A LOT faster. Using your estimation of 6,788 hp, and an average of 18 hp (from ap resets, not from level up ap) will require ~377 washes, or about 4,524 mp for washing with solely mp washing. With your 243 base int at lvl52, if you save 115 AP from lvl52 - 75 and add it all into MP, you'll get 2,760 extra MP from mp washing, and 713 extra mp from leveling with the total int (3473 extra mp total + the 600 from leveling from 1-52 is 4,073 MP). That means at this point you're done and you can reset all your points back into stats. 115 resets to reset your mp back into your main stat, 239 resets to reset int back into main stat, and average of 18 hp per ap reset wash of 352 resets (4,073/12 = 339.083) is 18 * 339 = 6,084 hp. This leaves 688 hp left to wash that you can do the traditional way through level up AP, which is 688/20 ~ 34 resets (20 hp per wash being worst case). 34 resets = 34*12 = 408 extra mp, which you can easily do with 4 base int and a modest amount of int from equips like zak helm in 100 levels (4.08 extra mp per level). Of course, this is a bit of extra mp in case you get less than the average amount of hp. The total is 716 resets, but you can reset your stats by lvl 75 and have an extra 6k hp at that level too. This would be ~6.1b with 8.5m/reset, so an extra 1.2b compared to the traditional method. IMO, being able to be pretty much done with int and washing by lvl 75 is worth the 1.2b. You can also adjust the amount of MP washing, to let's say 100 AP from 52-72, or 50 AP from 52-62, and it'll be cheaper but the level at which you'll be done will increase. If you did 52-72, you'd need about 450 more MP to HP wash the rest the traditional way, meaning 15 more levels with 310 total int so you'd be done at lvl 90 ish, and you'd save 127.5m (6b total). If you did 52-62, you'd need 1950 more MP to HP wash the traditional way, meaning 63 more levels and you'd be done by lvl130, saving 550m (5.6b total). I didn't include the AP from job advancement as this is all before lvl 120. Conclusion: (with 240 base int) ~6.1b be done by 75 ~6b be done by 100 ~5.6b be done by 140 ~4.9b be done by 170 (your/traditional method). This can definitely be optimized better, either by increasing or decreasing the amount of base int to increase or decrease the amount of mp washes.
I think you're very much right, and anyway who wants to leech his NL until he's 175 haha. My goal will now be 10,700 HP on level 135, which will bring me to 11,500 HP on level 175. I'm going to try and calculate the best method to do it, I think it will have to be MP washing.
Well, here are my calculations, I hope you can fix me if you find anything wrong. Using this as my draft, so it might be very long haha. So actually, 10,700 HP at level 135 will be more expensive than MP washing at a certain level, and then just normally wash with Int gear. Level 1: 10 Int, 7 Dex Level 2: 15 Int, 7 Dex (+1 MP) Level 3: 20 Int, 7 Dex (+2 MP) Level 4: 25 Int, 7 Dex (+4 MP) Level 5: 30 Int, 7 Dex (+6 MP) Level 6: 35 Int, 7 Dex (+9 MP) Level 7: 37 Int, 10 Dex (+12 MP) Level 8: 44 Int (7 Int Wooden Wand), 15 Dex (+15 MP) Level 9: 44 Int, 20 Dex (+19 MP) Level 10: 72 Int (8 Int YWG, 20 Int Bandana), 25 Dex (+23 MP) Level 11: 77 Int, 25 Dex (+30 MP) Level 12: 82 Int, 25 Dex (+37 MP) Level 13: 87 Int, 25 Dex (+45 MP) Level 14: 92 Int, 25 Dex (+53 MP) Level 15: 102 Int (5 Int Earrings), 25 Dex (+62 MP) Level 16: 107 Int, 25 Dex (+72 MP) Level 17: 112 Int, 25 Dex (+82 MP) Level 18: 117 Int, 25 Dex (+93 MP) Level 19: 122 Int, 25 Dex (+104 MP) Level 20: 150 Int (23 Int Bathrobe), 25 Dex (+116 MP) Level 21: 155 Int, 25 Dex (+131 MP) Level 22: 160 Int, 25 Dex (+146 MP) Level 23: 165 Int, 25 Dex (+162 MP) Level 24: 170 Int, 25 Dex (+178 MP) Level 25: 185 Int (10 Int Ragged Cape) , 25 Dex (+ 195 MP) Level 26: 190 Int, 25 Dex (+213 MP) Level 27: 195 Int, 25 Dex (+232 MP) Level 28: 200 Int, 25 Dex (+251 MP) Level 29: 205 Int, 25 Dex (+271 MP) Level 30: 210 Int (137 Base), 25 Dex (+291 MP) Level 31: 215 Int, 25 Dex (+312 MP) Level 32: 220 Int, 25 Dex (+333 MP) Level 33: 225 Int, 25 Dex (+355 MP) Level 34: 230 Int, 25 Dex (+377 MP) Level 35: 235 Int (162 Base), 25 Dex (+400 MP) Level 36: 240 Int (167 Base), 25 Dex (+423 MP) Level 37: 245 Int (172 Base) , 25 Dex (+447 MP) Level 38: 250 Int (177 Base), 25 Dex (+471 MP) Level 39: 255 Int (182 Base), 25 Dex (+496 MP) Level 40: 260 Int (187 Base), 25 Dex (+521 MP) Level 45: 285 Int (212 Base), 25 Dex (+655 MP) Level 50: 310 Int (237 Base), 25 Dex (+801 MP) Level 51: 313 Int (240 Base), 25 Dex , 2 FREE AP (+832 MP) Level 75: 313 Int (240 Base), 25 Dex, 122 FREE AP (+1576 MP) Now putting all the AP to MP, will give me (24 * 122) 2928 extra MP. In addition to the extra MP I already own, I'd have (1576 + 2928) 4504 extra MP at level 75. This amount of MP will grant me 375 HP washes, which means (375 * 18) 6,756 extra HP at level 75. Costs: 236 AP Resets for the base Int. Using 122 AP Resets from MP back to LUK. Washing the 375 AP washes available from MP to HP. Total AP Resets: 733 (6.23b) This would mean I'd be done with washing at level 75, no need even for Int gear after level 75. This is obviously a very expensive option, I'll try calculating a cheaper option, where I could continue with my Int gear until level 135, or 175.
Nobody really answered his question about INT gear prices... I would like to know as well because I scroll all my stuff.
Looks good. You could probably get away with stopping earlier like at lvl70 if you keep the int gear and keep washing the regular way for a couple dozen more levels.
Could you help me calculating these 2 options ? 1) Keeping Int gear until level 135, reaching 10,700 HP on level 135 and then stopping with HP washing. 2) Kepping Int gear until level 175, and eventually reaching my 11,500 HP goal at level 175.
Thanks, you helped me alot today. I'll keep doing my calculations, if you feel like checking them tomorrow I'll be grateful
Level 1: 10 Int, 7 Dex Level 2: 15 Int, 7 Dex (+1 MP) Level 3: 20 Int, 7 Dex (+2 MP) Level 4: 25 Int, 7 Dex (+4 MP) Level 5: 30 Int, 7 Dex (+6 MP) Level 6: 35 Int, 7 Dex (+9 MP) Level 7: 37 Int, 10 Dex (+12 MP) Level 8: 44 Int (7 Int Wooden Wand), 15 Dex (+15 MP) Level 9: 44 Int, 20 Dex (+19 MP) Level 10: 72 Int (8 Int YWG, 20 Int Bandana), 25 Dex (+23 MP) Level 11: 77 Int, 25 Dex (+30 MP) Level 12: 82 Int, 25 Dex (+37 MP) Level 13: 87 Int, 25 Dex (+45 MP) Level 14: 92 Int, 25 Dex (+53 MP) Level 15: 102 Int (5 Int Earrings), 25 Dex (+62 MP) Level 16: 107 Int, 25 Dex (+72 MP) Level 17: 112 Int, 25 Dex (+82 MP) Level 18: 117 Int, 25 Dex (+93 MP) Level 19: 122 Int, 25 Dex (+104 MP) Level 20: 150 Int (23 Int Bathrobe), 25 Dex (+116 MP) Level 21: 155 Int, 25 Dex (+131 MP) Level 22: 160 Int, 25 Dex (+146 MP) Level 23: 165 Int, 25 Dex (+162 MP) Level 24: 170 Int, 25 Dex (+178 MP) Level 25: 185 Int (10 Int Ragged Cape) , 25 Dex (+ 195 MP) Level 26: 190 Int, 25 Dex (+213 MP) Level 27: 195 Int, 25 Dex (+232 MP) Level 28: 200 Int, 25 Dex (+251 MP) Level 29: 205 Int, 25 Dex (+271 MP) Level 30: 210 Int (137 Base), 25 Dex (+291 MP) Level 31: 213 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 2 FREE AP (+312 MP) Level 50: 213 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 97 FREE AP (+711 MP) Now using the free AP in MP will get me (97 * 14) 1358 extra MP. In addition to the extra MP I already own, I'd have (1358 + 711) 2,069 extra MP. 2,069 extra MP = 172 washes. Now using the 172 washes from MP to HP, would grant me (172 * 18) 3,096 extra HP. Taking back the 97 AP from MP to Luk, would make my stats at level 50: Level 50: 213 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 101 Luk. (6,788 - 3,096) 3,692 HP left to wash to reach the goal. (3,692/22) 168 HP washes. (168 * 12) 2,016 MP. Getting Zakum Helmet and Deputy Star. Assuming Zakum Helmet would be 22+ Int after scrolling. Level 50: 220 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 101 Luk. Level 60: 220 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 151 Luk (+220 MP) Level 70: 220 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 176 Luk (+440 MP) Level 88: 220 Int (140 Base, 25 Dex, 263 Luk, 2 FREE AP (+836 MP) Level 100: 220 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 263 Luk, 62 FREE AP(+1100 MP) Level 130: 220 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 263 Luk (+2200 MP) GOAL REACHED Level 135: 220 Int (140 Base), 25 Dex, 263 Luk (+2310 MP) LEVEL 135 STATS 140 Base Int, 25 Dex, 431 Luk. HP: 7,008 (3,912 + 3,096) MP: Extra 2310 HP needed to reach goal: 3,700 (10,700 - 7,000) Washes needed to reach goal: 168 (3,700/22) TOTAL COSTS 136 AP Resets to reset the Int back to Luk. 172 AP Resets to wash the 1st MP to HP. 168 AP Resets to wash the 2nd MP to HP. (First saving up AP instead of using it in LUK, then washing in the usual way) Total AP Resets: 476. Total Cost: 4b (476 * 8.5m) I think I'm happy with this one. One more question though. At level 50, do I have to actually use AP Resets, or can I just wait with EVERYTHING until level 135 to use the AP Resets ?
It doesn't matter when you use AP resets as long as you're resetting from mp to hp. The only thing that'll change is if you're using fresh level-up AP to hp wash (20-24 hp), or resetting out from MP into HP (16-20 hp). So you can wait until lvl 135, having a lot of extra mp, to reset your mp all at once.
Another thing to keep in mind. You don't have to keep track of how many points you put into MP because you can keep resetting out into stats until you can't reset into stats anymore. However, you cannot HP wash from MP to HP until you add one level-up AP into HP first. Then after you're done washing you can take out that AP from HP and put it back into stats. Thus starting from lvl135 when you're going to be washing the rest the traditional way will save you a reset or two.
So I'm just going to stack MP and AP until level 135, and only then use AP Resets. It'll work, right ?
Right, but since I dont have the money for the AP Resets at the momment, I wanted to make sure I can get it along the way
@Plenty @Jaemin much thanks for all your hard work and calculations here. I have another question. my targets aren't as high. I have a target of 7.6k hp at 155 because I only intend to HT. currently I've gathered up 70int worth of eq. most of them can be worn at lvls 20-35 cept for the YSS and intel maple leafs at lvl 50. Question is, would I be able to hit my target without adding base intel? also, will all these calculations in the thread apply to bowmen?
http://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-reference-table.17093/ As you can see, thieves and bowmen have different HP gain using level-up AP. The HP gain is the same when using AP resets. In addition, the minimum MP is smaller for a bowman, so that will affect your washing. You'd need about 170 washes to get ~7.5 at 155 I think. To get 170 washes you need 2040 MP above your minimum MP, and assuming from lvl 35, that means 120 levels to get 2040 extra MP. 2040 / 120 = 17 MP per level, or you need 170 total int to do it with just level ups. So no, 70 int is not enough.
