Monster from Maple Island seem to have no spawns in certain channels. I seem to only find spawns only in channel 6/7. Also, upon killing the monsters, they don't drop items i.e. their etc. drops. Monsters include Snails, Shrooms, Blue Snails, Red Snails, Slimes, Pigs, Stumps. I have not attempt to kill the Orange Mushroom yet. Please fix this, and thank you!
The items required weren't labeled as quest items but as regular monster dropping such as mesos, blue snail shells, tree branch, etc.
Still doesn't answer the question if you have forfeited your quests. I think you have the quest drop bug and that is why you are only seeing drops in certain channels.
Regardless, I tested this by killing other monsters that weren't needed to complete the quest, yet no droppings.
No it's not regardless. If you have quests in progress, you can bug the map where mobs do not drop any items and mobs do not respawn. We've seen this before, so we know what we are talking about. Have you forfeited all of your quests?
