Stole this from another v63 server that shall not be named (is this allowed? lol) Apparently was done way back in 2009 on SouthPerry but was deleted or something and this is a screenshot Not all the info shows, but in general it looks like 15 att glove, ~6 att cape, ~5 att shoes, 12 att w.att potions, and weapons are "several 30%'s and 60's". Skill buffs are only what each class has itself + sharp eyes
@Plenty @jmmainvi @LuckyLook @Tim @maggles @Sh0oK (idk just tagged people with high level characters/knowledge that may be able to provide input on their classes dps)
Also obviously some classes are better with higher att than others, it isn't perfect, but it could be a nice reference
From a first glance perspective, this looks pretty on point. My personal DPS ranking matches up very well with this picture. However, something this cut and dry without taking into consideration other potential factors like Speed Infusion for warriors or the scenario for perfect weapons does beg the question if this chart is absolute. Still a good measuring stick for DPS, but not concrete.
Looks more or less accurate. The specifics will change as the character nears "perfect" plus you add the godly system and apples (like the 2h hero overcoming the 1h, the DrK and the hero pulling away from the bucc, and the nightlord catching up to the corsair on boat a bit) but not anything major. I didn't realize that hero/DrK would outdamage corsairs as early as two targets. I thought it took three. That's interesting.
Really? I wouldn't have thought that whoever developed these skills in the first place would drop the ball that hard although this chart does seem to indicate pretty clearly where some classes may need a boost in damage like Shadowers and Paladins. I took a second look at this and it seems like this chart overinflated mage damage. For example, it lists Genesis as 40,113 DPS and Genesis has a cast rate of 2.7 seconds. If this chart is true, on average, a Bishop should be able to hit over 100,000 per Genesis and I know for a fact that that is not possible. I don't know where they're getting these numbers for mages. Teach me how to do calculators on Google and I'll make one similar to this assuming I know how to figure out damage ranges based on equips.
If I'm not wrong 15sec is the correct cooldown timing for snipe at v62, however the cd in royals is 10 seconds for some reason. I might be wrong tho :x
Not sure how accurate this is, But the way they have organized the jobs is already good in terms of ranking them from the best to the worst (DPS-wise). 1. Corsair 2. Nightlord 3. Bowmaster 4. Marksman 5. Hero Is what known to be the top 5 dps classes when it comes to v62.
Im pretty sure everyone has known this for quite some time., but these rankings are pretty useless in my opinion. Saying a Corsair is better than x class doesn't mean anything to me when it can range from 1% better to 2x the DPS of x class
This is just a general ranking of the classes. The table shows much more accurate information about the actual gaps between them. and btw DPS isn't everything! it doesn't make one class better than the other!
It's sad to see archmages falling so behing every other class, but I guess it's what you get for being a great mobber. Althought I think, even our dps isn't great, we still do great aoe damage... so I honestly don't get it when people ask stupid questions like "why did you recruit an archmage for zak???"
The worst part about this chart to mages is that they even inflate mage damage. They do even less than this.
Also pretty sure that as WA increases, NL benefits more than guns. This chart assumes some pedestrian gear (6atk cape, 5atk shoes), so in royals it would be a bit closer.
