Notice Seeking Developers

Just a quick note to make the community aware, we are currently looking to find an additional Java developer who can help us work on fixing the bugs we have. If you or anyone you know may be interested, please fill out a Staff Application or if you would prefer, PM me.

 

There are a lot of great programmers at RaGEZONE. Just contact one of them and offer him a deal.

 

I don't think they're offering compensation for their time and work.

 

Perhaps the more experienced cocky assholes are looking for payment from a MapleStory private server, but the average joe coder that is bored as hell may be interested in finding another server or another chance at bettering themselves in the skill known as programming.

The trick isn't always finding the coder, but rather the one that will stick around and enjoy the community as well as be enjoyed by the community.

Good luck on your search, administrators. If all else fails, you can always just ask about your coding dilemmas on ragezone and they will help you out most likely.

 

As you just saw, i wrote "and offer him a deal.". I didn't said he'll do it for free.

Exactly. I'm saying I don't think the admins of MapleRoyals are offering any kind of payment for the role - thus they probably won't be offering anyone a deal. It looks to me like they're after volunteers.

 

I've got 10$ in my iTunes account, maybe i can pay to some programmer and he'll fix a few pqs...

 

You are always free to donate to the server from the top of the forum.

 

Can't, it's from iTunes. They can use the money from the donations to pay to a programmer whose gonna fix the bugs..

 

The server in itself is already expensive enough for Matt to spend all the donations on. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls some out of his own pocket too, every month.

Either way, if you start paying people for something like this, Nexon will try to get involved.
This is a private server, and I doubt any developers or GMs even expect anything in return other than the results that they strife for (an awesome server like this one!)
