    Lo & BEHOLD!
    WELCOME to
Cyndy's Simple Guide to Money Making!
Before you indulge any further, this is a guide is for people who do not know the basic of how to make mesos in this server.
It's a rather relaxed and simple way that anyone can pick up.
    Thus being a guide for new players! If you're an old player and doesn't know how the basic of mesos making, it's fine as well! (;

    About me:
I've been in this server since last late December and well, when I first started out, I had no clue how to make mesos.
Even till level 100, I couldn't afford to buy myself a Zak Helm. ~f4
But I've learned my ways and without ever leeching or farming mesos, I've made some serious cash. ;)
(In fact, I usually sit about in FM almost everyday)

    Table of Content

    Starting out:
Usually this is common knowledge but if you're a Maple noob like me, you wouldn't know!
So when you're starting out on a new server, the easiest and most cheapest way to save up mesos is to create a Bishop.
    ________________________________________________________________________________

    BISHOPS
    bishop.png

    Why a Bishop?
One of the most obvious reasons is that Bishops are one of the most incredibly useful classes of all time.
Although there are many bishops, you can still be useful to yourself and as well as Bossing Parties & etc.
Funding one doesn't cost as much as all you got to do is pump INT all the way (in fact this applies to all mage classes as LUK is useless to mages.)

As a Bishop, you can sell Leech with HS.
Leeching spots includes: GS2, WS, Goby, Ulu 2, Skeles.

    How to sell leech?
It depends on how many times it takes for you to kill the certain mob. Keep in mind that people rather buy 1h/2h leeches.
As the prices of 1h/2h leeches tend to raise/fall, make sure to keep an eye out on the smega prices/ask your friends!
To find out how much Magic you need to kill certain mobs and etc, check out the guide that's the link below.

    Their useful skills includes:
[IMG] Holy Symbol [Increases X% EXP to party members]

[IMG] Mystic Portal [Portal to Nearest Town for X sec]
[IMG] Genesis [Attacks 15 monsters at one time and does Holy Damage]
[IMG] Resurrection [Resurrects a member instantly, only can be used every 30 minutes]

Not up for making a Bishop?
No worries! There are plenty of other method to make mesos!

    Level 50 and below
For clarification, you can only vote on one account per person.
    If someone else is playing the server in the same house, make sure to apply for whitelist. {CLICK HERE}

To start making money, make sure you vote everyday! You get 8,000NX for voting.

    Teleport Rocks
Under the Use Tab of Cash Shop, Start buying some Teleport Rocks (2,500 NX for 6).
MAKE SURE TO BUY THE BUNDLE!
    rock-50%.png
Go about CH 1 FM/use smegas to sell some.
I'd say the standard price of one tele rock is roughly 2m, but the price might rise/fall so just sit about FM or be sure to look out for smegas!

    AP Resets
If you want to, you could sell AP Resets (3,100 NX for 1).
MAKE SURE IT'S AP RESETS! NOT SP RESETS!
    apreset-50%.png
The standard price is 9m. But depending on the season, it might rise/fall. Again, you could check with your friends or sit around FM/look out for smegas.

Out of those two, I would recommend selling Tele Rocks as it's much more cheaper in terms of using your NX!

    ________________________________________________________________________________

    farming.png
    Farming Mesos
Aside from using NX to help you earn mesos, farming is one way!
These are a few spots I know that could help you train and earn mesos!
(Please feel free to suggest some areas!)

Keep in mind, their drops are worth quite a bit. One stack of 200 of Zombie's Lost Tooth can sell for 600k. (In your FM Store)
Forest of Golem (Sleepwood FoG, 51+): Great for training, not packed. Although low drop rate of GFA 60%.
Slimy (Boat Quay Town GS2, 55+): Great training spot but very packed, drops some useful EQs.
Miner Zombies (El Nath Dead Mine, 55+): Zombie's Lost Gold Tooth, Zombie's Lost Tooth, Maple Kandiva Bow (Lvl64 Bow)
Clean Pirate Stat Tops (For example: 10 dex, 7 luk) can be sold.

{CLICK HERE} for an even more in-depth/detailed guide by @Plenty

    What to do with Drops?
When training, you can obtain certain scrolls, potions, Equipments and Royals Custom Mob drop, Super Megaphones.
    ________________________________________________________________________________

    Equipments.png
    Equipments
In royals, there's a godly system introduced.
To understand more about it, {CLICK HERE}.

Once you get the idea, basically the EQs that drops, how to tell if its godly or average?
Just because something is Purple, doesn't mean it's purple for the right reason. The same applies for it being white/faded out.

    How to check?
Well.. Luckily for us, we have the library to help us!
Here's the library page to Weapons. You can check for other equipments yourself.
    http://library.royals.ms/?page=weapons

Here are the steps! I've even provided a gif for you ;).
    • Find the weapon/equipment you are looking to check.
    • Hover over the stats you want to check!

    Gachapon.png

    Gachapon Machine
In order to start Gacha-ing, you need to be level 50.
Save up to 30,000 NX and purchase the 35 Ticket bundle, as it saves NX.

    Gacha Locations

    MUSHROOM SHRINE/ZIPANGU
Tons of 30% scrolls, Chaos Scroll (280m~ish), Purple Gaia Cape (worth something)
    NLC
White Scroll (280m~ish), Stonetooth Sword (worth something), Random 10% scrolls (1m~3m ish),
    iTCG items.
{CLICK HERE} for the iTCG guide made by @Plenty
KERNING CITY (recommended only If funded)
Pink Gaia Cape (2 att 170m++, 3att 300~350m, 4att 500m, 5att~9att, you need to get lucky for high atts), thief scrolls,
GFA 30%/70%, Dragon Sleeves (With decent attack states though, 55+ or higher).
BEWARE! You will get crappy thieves EQs.
    Showa (recommended if well funded)
Shield M.ATT 60%, Sky Skis (With decent attack states though, 97+ or higher), Maple Leaf (A face accessory for yourself as it is untradeable).
    CBD/Sleepywood/Nautilus
The most important point is that
Black Versal Material (BVM, iTCG material) drops at the 3 locations.
From Sleepywood, you can obtain a Maple Leaf, Red Emerald Earrings & Raccoon Mask.
From CBD, you can obtain a Sad Mask, White Raccoon Mask, some useful 60% scrolls, Shield WA, 100% INT for Eye Accesory.
Nautilus is probably the most useless out of the three >~<
    ________________________________________________________________________________

    Merching.png
    FM & Merching
Make sure to save up to 10,000 NX and speak to Fredrick in FM.
Buy yourself a Merchant. Pick any design you like!
    50%.png
Be sure to surf through the FM daily to check the prices and as well as cheap deals! And be on the look out for smegas!
If you are lazy, {CLICK HERE} to check out this Scroll Price Guide made by @Plenty
Although, the prices may rise and fall, the usual scrolls should roughly cost/sell for the same amount.
AND!! Be sure to keep in mind that INT gears/scrolls are quite costly so do not sell for cheap, so they are usually pricey-er than average.

Yay! A link to copy and paste when someone asks about making money! Great guide! Love the pictures and organization.

Monsters I would add for lower level players:
    • Wild boars for Maple Weapons, Power Crystal Ores, Leather, NPC fodder
    • Cloud Foxes for 10%/30% 2h Sword scrolls
    • Crows for 30% Shoes Jump scrolls
    • Bubblings for godly Blue Jewelry Shoes
    • Nospeeds for Arwen's Glass Shoe (I can imagine these picking up in price in the future)
    • Rocky Masks for 60% Earring Int, 60% Spear Atk and 60% Staff M.Atk
    • Orange Mushrooms for Mushroom Omok Piece

I wouldn't be surprised to see people buying the Mushroom Omok Piece for 1m each because it's one of the better looking pieces.

If you're going to be sticking to around the 50s-60s, I'll go ahead and spew a bit more:
    • Leprechauns for Lucky Charm and NPC fodder
    • Grizzlies for Maple Skanda
    • Minor Zombies for Zombie's Lost Gold Tooth, Zombie's Lost Tooth and Maple Kandiva Bow
    • Jr. Wraiths for godly Low Luk Mage Robes, 100% Helmet for Dex and Power Crystal Ores
    • Red Slimes for godly Fallen Leaf Earrings
These places aren't exactly commonly known, but these were things I noticed when I was making character after character.

Place no one every goes: Skeleton Soldiers in Tomb I I think? I'll double check the map later. But they drop wand and staff m.atk 60%s, CFA and GFA 60%s and some decent equips at a good rate.

There are better options than Skelton Soldiers imo. No super high value drops and the scrolls that they drop are getting lower and lower.

Added this guide to the sticky all in one.

Mem lane 1 and 4/5 have been kind to me when I've farmed them for helm int/Dex along with various other drops.

Gobies is a popular place to grind some meso as well.

New players only, sadly. I might consider making the higher level version of this thread seeing as the Community Money Making thread is sort of dead and there aren't that many methods anyway.

Yeah I wasn't sure how high a level this was going to. An endgame farming guide could be a nice continuation for people who "graduate" from this. It does seem that the community hasn't been contributing much to the hourly thread (myself included f4).

An obscure place I enjoyed to make some money was the jipang zombie/niteghost map when I was in my late 50's to even mid 70's zombies are always good for consistent cash flow and the niteghost drop 60% cape int at a fairly high frequency as well as red whips that can net a small profit.

Good guide @Cyndy! Covers the basics for people to build up a starting fund. Would you mind if I refer/use this guide on a guide I'm working on (which is more about end-game money making) to show people how to get started with making money? O:
