I have my main and only hunter lvl 47 right now. I dont have money to buy the overpriced stuff with int stats. I just want to have fun, I'm not planning to do crzy boss solos or wathever.
Since you mentioned u r not planning to boss much, you wouldn't need hp washing at all. Hp washing is only needed if you plan to boss early, e.g. Getting a Zak Helm early at lvl 50 or horntail at lvl155 with 5.6k hp and above with hyper body. You'll do fine if ur not washing, but if able, just grab a Zak helm and a deputy star ASAP, they give some amount of int available for washes if you decide to wash later. Also, don't forget the amount of excess mp u can actually get from job advancement, they help a lot in washing.
For a hunter, I'd say around 70-80, as long u can get 2.1k hp and a DK to provide u with hyperbody, you'll do fine
I assume you mean like regular monster bosses and not party bosses like Zak and HT. For Zak, you need a min HP of 3.1k w/o HB or what IFate said, 2.1k+HB and for HT, >7.6k hp w/o HB. It's okay if you don't have the money to wash, you are just starting out, you're not expected to wash so soon. Heck, my first character that I'm washing is nowhere near ready and I've been playing on this server for a month or two. So don't worry so much about washing until you have more money.
The only bosses you really need to wash for is Pink Bean. Pink Bean isn't released in this server yet and Horn tail + zakum you can do at lower levels. The main reason for washing is to be able to survive 2 full attacks by a boss at entry level instead of just 1.
Washing is never -necessary- to do anything except for Pink Bean, which as stated previously, we don't have right now. Why you would want to wash: - Makes bossing easier since at certain HP milestones you can tank more than one hit before dying/you can afford to make mistakes (at Anego, Pap 2nd Body, etc) - Makes it so that you can do some bosses earlier (Zakum Helm at level 50 is a big one) - Makes it so that you can do some bosses on time (you won't have enough HP at 155 for Horntail without washing, it happens a bit later) - Makes it so that you don't require Hyper Body to go on runs (Horntail is scary without HB and only 5.6k HP, and if you're inexperienced, you'll probably die) HP Milestones, if you're curious: Spoiler - 3300: Zakum max magic damage (2100ish before HB) - 5200: Papulatus Second Body touch damage (if you can't keep perfect knockback) - 5600: Horntail with HB // Anego gun damage - 7600: Horntail without HB (still can die to leg stomp) - 9000: Horntail without HB (safe from leg stomp) - 11500: Pink Bean with HB, Horntail leg touch damage - 13000: Bigfoot touch damage - 14000: Bodyguard B touch damage (one of his magic attacks draws you into him, forcing a touch) - 14750: Horntail head touch damage - 18750: Max HP with HB, Pink Bean without HB - 24000: Bodyguard A kick damage (why are you so close, wtf) - 30000: Being Christopher Chance I probably missed some things, but those are the ones that came to mind right away.
