Hi. I recently downloaded Windows 10 and decided to test if Maple Royals would work on it. It does work but I am having black bars on the left and right sides which are very distracting. I use AMD graphics and to fix this problem I tried the "Enable GPU Scaling" setting but that didn't help. I would appreciate a step-by-step walkthrough of the AMD Catalyst Control Center on how to fix this black bar problem. Thank you.

I've watched videos but none of them have helped. In my "enable GPU scaling" settings, it is set to "scale to full panel size" or something like that. That should fix the problem but it hasn't

Do you have it connected through HDMI or something else?

    I can't replicate it, so it's a bit hard.

That worked on Windows 8.1. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Windows 10. However I noticed something. I kept the GPU Scaling menu open while running Royals. I noticed that right before MR went full screen, the option changed from "Scale image to full panel size" to "Maintain Aspect Ratio". When I went into windowed mode, it changed back to "Scale image to full panel size" . Also, I fiddled around with my resolutions and the one that seemed to work was 800 x 600. Does that mean I have to play it in that resolution in order to play MR in full screen?

If you press "apply" and close it does it still do that?

I don't know never used win 10, it seems awfully strange it would do that, I would either try to find a solution online or contact AMD support.

I press apply after checking the "enable GPU scaling" box. The rest of the sub options like maintain aspect ratio etc. Are greyed out so I cannot choose them. The option is automically selected to "scale image to full panel size". However, right before royals goes fullscreen, I see that the option of " Maintain aspect ratio" gets selected. When I exit full screen it goes back to being greyed out and selected to "scale image to full size". I guess I'll try contacting AMD support. Thanks.

I would also suggest not running in larger resolution than 1080p, it could cause a problem.

So I guess I could just switch my resolution to 800x600 while playing royals then switching back to 1920x1080 while not playing. It'll make multi taskimg harder but that's the only thing that works. Or I could just try getting used to those black bars.

nvidia released a new driver today that includes the latest tweaks, bug fixes and optimizations for gaming experience on Windows 10.
Since I don't have windows 10 on desktop I can't tell if there is a way to fix this but I think it's a matter of time until we can address this issue.
