The fact that you don't remember my fourm name amuses me (do you know me? you do you just don't know it!) but wait...I was the first bowman to hit 120? I thought i gave that up because it would be funny...DANG IT PAST SELF WHY DO YOU BETRAY ME...I mean you...I mean us...time is complicated. For the record I could never actually be one of the top players I burn myself out way too quickly. also it's an "accomplishment" that cost me a lot of time i could've spent doing something productive like hanging out with people that I would never see again (not that i could have known that at the time but that's besides the point) so i don't really view it as such. oh and as for Chimney jq I've still only ever managed to do it perfectly (read as in 30 seconds) once as such I'm sure there must be some people better than I am especially given the fact that I am out of practice considering the massive amount of players on the server. but that's enough of my whining it's sad to see a member of the staff go but I'm glad you'll be back after the new source comes out (i know where I'll be stalking heh heh heh)

I would definitely like to stay in touch, especially if it includes touching the beard! We might've had different interests (I'm not much of a sports fan) but you've certainly become a good friend.
I'll see ya in-game again soon once we release the kraken (new source). In the meantime.... Try not to slaughter Chelsea too much.

I don't know how to even begin this post, since I never figured this day would ever come. Due to IRL and other unrelated issues I decided to leave Staff. This is kind of emotional for me, since I've been a member of Staff since September 2013 (before the wipe). I've never made a post in this section before, even though I've came and gone many times, but I feel as if I owe it to my friends and all of you to say a proper goodbye. I've met many many amazing people during my journey, this is the greatest community I have ever had the honor to be a part of. Keep in mind, I am not leaving the game completely as @Chelsea and I are going to come back to the game once the new source is out.

I want to start off by thanking @Matt. If it wasn't for Matt I wouldn't have been here nor would I have forged lifelong friendships and relationships. I've been behind the scenes for a very long time and have watched Matt make extreme sacrifices for the good of the server. There have been many many lean months towards the beginning where Matt had to pay out of pocket to keep the server running. If it wasn't for Matt this the server would have never been kept up. @Matt also had to make a controversial decision (which was discussed with and supported by me) of wiping his semi-popular 10x exp server to a 4x exp server. Obviously, this decision has paid off. I'm not sure if many other server owners would have had the balls at the time to make such a difficult decision that was met with such harsh backlash. If the wipe never happened the server would have never flourished.

I have way too many people to say goodbye to, so I will do it by groups.

@Christine Who better to start with first than the person I met IRL first? You've been a great friend to me both in the game and out. This isn't goodbye, as we will keep in touch and head to Donut Planet (yes, planet) really soon. I will text you to make it happen. Not sure about this Saturday, maybe the Saturday after? But back on topic, you're the best.

@Aly You and I are so so similar and having the pleasure of spending a few precious days with you IRL confirmed that. When I first joined this server you welcomed my friend group and I into the "popular" (well, it was a small server at the time) group and we had Skype calls all the time. You really made me feel at home. I consider you less like a friend and more like a sister and I hope I get to see you again in the near future.

@Dustin Dustbin! Dude, you already know I love you. We have similar interests, similar music tastes, and we're both former pot heads trying to get by in a friend group dominated by pot heads. I've never even met you before in person but after spending the last two years with you I feel as if I know you better than some of my IRL friends. You're the best, man.

@Katsuruka I've always looked up to you. You embody everything I want to be in life; responsible, hard-working, caring, and a great parent. The amount of work I've seen you put into the server is staggering. You do so much on the back end that the community will never see. You deserve a big group hug from the community for all that you have done to keep the server running as efficiently as possible. I will miss serving with you most of all.

@Michael Fuck you dude. You're a worthless sack of shit and every second I spend with you feels like eternity. Lets grab a beer next time I'm in Toronto, maybe we can go see the Jays? I really don't understand how they're below .500 with the best lineup in the league. I guess pitching is everything (which is why my Mets are 3 games over .500 ). You gotta make a trip down to NY/NJ, you will always have a place to stay with us.

@Manny Lubber! I pushed hard to get you into Staff, and that really paid off. You're a really cool dude IRL and next time I'm in Toronto I'm going to buy you a few beers (even though beer in Ontario is waaaaaay over priced I don't know how you do it). I've also watched your Twitch stream several times, and you're really good at it. I still don't understand the appeal of Twitch, perhaps I'm old, but I do know that you convey your awesome personality well while streaming. Keep it up man and I'll see you soon

@Sila You and I have had many great chats. We've experienced a lot of similar (yet extremely different) diversity in our lives and I feel like you understand my sometimes rocky mental health better than anyone here. I know you're always there for me emotionally and always know that I'm here for you as well. Stay in touch please.

@Interpol Tom! deGrom just beat Greinke in a showdown, does this mean deGrom is favored for the Cy Young? Probably not. I do wish your Dodgers success and it was always fun talking Baseball with you. We've had some amazing Skype calls as well

@Ekul Luke! We had some great times on Skype, I hope life is treating you well. I do remember you and Tom telling me that after the wipe we would be never have 100 concurrent users on again, look at us now.

No doubt that my favorite time on Royals was spent being a part of the best guild in Royals history. Lubs was a pre wipe guild that was the second guild created after the wipe (after @maggles guild Synergy)

@Rob I didn't know whether to put you in the Staff section or the Lubs section, since you've been part of my life as both. You are in my top 5 of favorite people I've met in Royals (no i won't list them, I don't want any hurt feelings). You were a great guild leader and a great friend. I enjoyed the weekend you spent at my house last year and I feel really bad that we didn't get to meet up the last time you were in the city. I hope that your girlfriend gets into UPenn so we can meet up more often!

@Catlaunch You and I have bonded so much over music, being buccaneers before it was cool, and being Jr Masters in our guild. Out of all the people that left Royals for Legends your departure hurt the most. I can't blame you, but I hope you'll play Royals with me once the new source is out. @Zoink Sven, you were one of my top motivators when I decided to level my Bucc. I miss the days when you were the number 1 bucc on the server and I was the number 3 bucc. We were Buccs before it was cool (before SI was even working). I will see you soon on Diablo i'm sure since season 4 is starting soon. We'll stay in touch. I hope you and @Aly are happy and make sure you treat her well because she deserves the best!

@Daniel Thanks for the amazingly kind words, dan. It's always a pleasure chatting with you and, while this definitely isn't goodbye, it's nice to reflect on the good times with royals. Looking back and realizing what an impact it's had on so many people from both the staff and the community as a whole is quite special. To be part of something great is one thing, but for us all to have had some form of positivite impact towards it is something else. We should all be proud of that.

tl;dr I get all sentimental and shit. Don't worry about it.

By some chance I was always inactive when you were active, and when I was active you werent so I never got the chance to know you as well as I'd like but hopefully thatll change when you come back with the new source. Sad to see you go, I wish you the best.

I joined Lubs as a level 8 mage on my first day in Royals. I was honored to be recruited with such experienced players and everyone was having a good time (yes, daily Lubs jokes). I was 3rd job when Rob told me guild was not as active because half of the active players had responsibilities as game masters (or admin). I immediately felt bad for saying such random things in guild chat
