Ok so, today I joined a Zakum run to buy a Zhelmet. The price was 70m for one helmet. Right before we summoned Zakum, I had a weird bug that made it so I couldn't click on anything in my inventory and equid, really nothing was clickable... We killed the Zakum and I went to loot my helm when I was told to. I tried picking a helmet up but my equip inventory was full. I immediately typed something in chat to let the sellers know (something like 'wait I didn't pick a helm up', don't remember exactly), but the sellers told me that I've picked one up and immediately teleported us out. After that, when we met in the free market to pay, I told them about the bug I had and one of them told me to try relogging. I relogged, and found that I don't have a Zhelmet in my inventory (as I said, my inventory was full, couldn't pick one up). They asked me to pay and I told them that I didn't pick a helmet up so I'm not paying (again, they immediately teleported us all out) The thing is, when we were still killing the zakum, the leader of that group said he's recording everything. He stated that he has a proof of me looting a Zhelmet. I asked him politely to send me a screenshot of me picking a helmet up, but he refused to send one and told me that I am just going to get banned and ruin my name on the server. After some arguing, he started using smegas and said "Tazdingo is a scammer" (I think he did this 3 or 4 times). He then told me he's reporting me and that I'm going to get banned for looting and not paying... I've been playing on this server for more than a year and I really don't want to get banned for this... I'm a loyal player and I absolutely LOVE this server. I just want to note; I have a total of 5b messos, and I wouldn't risk my account for 70m, if I had picked one up I'd have paid. The seller's name was Narrow, he is also the one who said he recorded everything. I made this thread because I don't want the GMs hearing his side of the story and just banning me for no reason, hope this is the right place...
Hi, I'm not neither a GM or moderator, but I hope this will help. _ There are no report on forums that mention your IGN Tazdingo, so I dont think you'll be banned. _ The part "Teleported us out", is that only GM are capable of ? _ The seller: Narrow, the fact that he said he recorded everything and didn't show any screen shoots for prove demonstrate he lied. _ Also the bug you're mentioned is true, sometime I got my self the same bug and mostly because of my pet, i usually cc or re-summon pet.
GM's don't interfere with scams like that so if Narrow indeed reported you, you would not got banned. Even if he did have proof -- although I believe you in this case. To fix that bug: If you can not click on anything, drag your chat box up and down. Dragging the chat box all the way up then all the way down should suffice.
First of all this is not a bannable offense. Second of all, As long as he doesn't want to send you recordings/screenshots , I'd say he is probably lying, so no worries.
Taz, you can fix this problem by doing the following thing with your chatbox: I also vouch for Tazdingo because I know him since I first started MapleRoyals and he's been a decent and trust-worthy player.
Lol, the attackers, and some of the buyers saw you looting a zhelm, so dont think you're getting off that easily . thats more than enough proof. And the recording thing, i say that because ive had issues with buyers before, and the moment i told them that, they paid right that second. its a trend that i had going and worked until this lowlife scammer came. Dont forget to mention that we asked you to post a video of your full equips inventory to show us that you had no zak helm, but you refused to do that All you said was you'll take an SS and send it to us, thats not hard to do, you wouldve moved the zak helm to the bottom and taken an SS lol. Dw, i'll tell the other attackers and buyers about this thread and get them to post their opinion on this guy
I was a buyer from this zak party. I saw tazdingo standing by three zhelms, he looted one and went dark sight. 2 helms were left. then he started saying he didn't loot a helm! saying he's bugged... he didn't pay afterwards.
Before I start, I do not have any proof of him physically, such as a screenshot or recording, because I thought everything would be fine. Now, to get started. While we were running Zakum, All the attackers said to the buyers to "Stay <<<", so that people could wait their turn to get the items they waited for. Whereas Tazdingo, not even listening, stayed back for maybe a good 10 seconds, where as others were waiting their turn. Tazdingo decided to walk with me to the very right, where 3 helms were dropped. When everyone got their turn, well almost everyone, "IknowU" went to get his helm from the middle of the altar, nowhere near the right were Tazdingo and I were located. As soon as we turned to "IknowU", we looked back at Tazdingo, who then went into DS, with 1 of the helms (of the 3) missing on the right side of the altar. Since I have no proof, there is no real way I can expect most people to believe what we're saying, but with more than enough people seeing him loot it, such as the attackers (and looters) Jennay, StuffWorks, Richard504, Narrow, Branded, Me, there is a good chance we would not lie about something as stupid as a zhelm. He may go on about the money and such, but money doesn't mean you wouldn't scam for something so little, because most people have money and still scam, anyway. Besides everything I had listed above, there is nothing more that I would personally like to include about the incident which took place. More than enough people saw him take a helm, even the looters. So like I said, this is all I would like to say about the incident. There's always a doubt when you bring buyers along with you on a run, and I can personally say that I had that with him, or IknowU. Besides the point, even if we asked him to provide a video of his inventory, he could've dropped it anyway before recording, since he didn't pay for the helm at all. Now I do not want to cause anymore commotion, I'm just stating what had happened and what I've seen. Take care everyone, have a good day !
we asked for a recording right when all the buyers were asked to meet in fm to make their payments. He kept saying how we were blackmailing him into getting a recording and refused and said he would provide a screen shot. if you think im lying about this, ask a GM to check the database lol and they can give you a picture of the conversation if they're willing to waste their time. i asked for a recording then because i followed him straight to FM so i wouldve seen if he dropped a helmet.
OH MY.. Too much trouble because of one DAMN zhelm. According to your logic, basically, WE all saw YOU looting a helmet, and u keep saying ure not. Well, wanna know what? I hope you enjoy your helm bro. Next time, try being more polite, try to not make people loose their time, its hella annoying. I know what i saw, and i saw you looting your helm, and not only ME, also everyone who was in the atackers PARTY, and in BUYERS party as well. So technically (according to ur logic) we are all crazy, and you never looted a helm, idk man, maybe u're right, i eat too much protein, and obviosly protein is a hallucinogenic substance, that made me see you looting a helm. Please, i advice to all the atackers, to just leave this kind gentleman with his helm, it was only 70m lost. (pocketchange) It's not about the helm, it's about the dick you were, and you know what you did, we are not child who do things and dont know what they are doing. Anyways Mr. Tazdingo, i hope you dont do this anymore, peace and happy mapling. And to the atackers, i can donate 70 mil so u all can split between urselves.
yes it does @Rob lol probably dropped one because his though the attackers wouldnt care and just say screw it. Its rude af what he did. idc about the zak helm, i just hate scammers.
Like I said, he didn't pay for it anyway, and in order to keep his "max meso" reputation good, he'd obviously drop it, knowing GM's would most likely look for the helm on his account.
