So i'm new to mapleroyals. I recently stayed the night over a friends house in which he showed me MR. He introduced me to the site and the private server. I made a guy and played a little bit on his laptop while he played on his desktop, i'm loving my time so far! The nostalgia is amazing! With this being said, I'm not able to vote. Even at my place, I can't vote. Idk if it's a bug or not, but it's kind of silly. If he votes, even if im across the state, I still can't vote. Does anyone know why? Does it base the account off of the IP used when the account was first made? Will it always consider me at his house? Please help me out! Thanks!!
Hi, I think you need to give more information about why you can't vote like your accounts is stuck, or you didn't get NX after voting... so GM can help you faster. My suggestion is: You need to be at least lv 15 to vote, if you and your friend vote from the same house it's better one vote from PC/Lap and the other vote from Mobile phone/ Smart phone.
It counts my friends vote as my vote. Let's say my friend has another 400 minutes until he can vote again, it'll say that for my account as well. Only one of us can vote at a time. It thinks we're in the same house and only let's one of us vote every 24 hours. So if I vote, he can't and vice versa. It doesnt matter if im on my phone, at my house, at a friends house. It seems like it always considers us on the same IP. is that because I originally made and started the account on my friends IP?
I think you will need GM assistance on this one. Still my best suggest for you is to wait 24h then vote from a difference place / IP to see if it's reset. Or you can Send a "Voting WhiteList" but it can become complicated.
Before you vote try and log into your own account then log out and vote. On your own computer and IP.
