IGN: ryannjjs Problem: As stated per title, Cannot log in nor access website or forum Details: As below: Nothing unusual or any downloads/uploads were done to my computer, usual day after work. Came home got online at around 1445hrs (gmt+8) and roughly about 1530hrs (gmt+8) I got disconnected. I thought the server froze, so as usual, tried to go to the shoutbox on forum to chit chat and see if there's any updates on the server. That's when the problem occured, where I couldn't access both the website or the forum, my browser just kept loading but eventually it turns out to be some error or sort. Tried logging into the game server and this error box keeps flashing out. Went to take a nap since I presumed was a server check or some kind of maintenance since all access points to royals was block (website/forum/game). At approximately, 1830-1900hrs (gmt+8) I tried logging in again, which I successfully did on my character, ryannjjs. But I still couldn't access both the forum and website. That was when, I realised something was amissed. So I tried accessing the forum and website on my phone, which it worked. So, trying to test or solve the solution on my own (presumably it was some ip fault), I tried turning on my hotspot shield which I haven't touch it for ages (never used it to play royals, just for your information). And it worked, that explains how I managed to create this thread, if not I wouldn't even be able to access the forum.. X.X Edit : Now I'm unable to log in to my various accounts, upon logging in. The client will be stucked at the character log in page and soon after, the client will dc. (Maybe I will try deactivating the hotspot shield and try out the client) But still I need a fix, for not being able to access the website and forum without turning on the hotspot shield. ( it's such a hassle trying to figure out how to turn it on :O ) P.S. Oh just to add, I did something called what DNS flush (not sure what it does, but I wiki-ed how to get it done), restarted my computer and my modem. *im typing this on my phone at the moment, once I turn off the hot spot shield, I'm unable to access forums nor the Web and the game too. Apparently even after I got pass the error message as stated above, I'll get disconnected during the selection of character page.(I hope it's not some kind of weird ban or something) *
Thanks for shifting my thread to the right location. Haha Hmm.. I mean it hasn't happen before. Its totally out of the blue. I can surf my net normally, only royals is giving me the problem.
Well I guess it could be something with the downtime earlier and you still suffer from connection problem. In which case the best solution I can give is to wait it out.
It could be an accidental mac ban or a firewall/antivirus issue. Make sure your firewall/antivirus isn't blocking royals.
Thanks for the help! But er.. Im not on any anti virus nor firewall and I've done a scan on my computer. Still no avail to the random unable to access forum problem.
Just to update anyone who is following this thread, the problem seems to be solved after the server check this morning at 0030hrs (gmt+1). Since then there's no problem accessing both the client and the website. Thanks all.
