    Hi, everyone,

I want to make a Corsair that will be able to participate in Pink Bean runs if that boss is ever released. I currently have two characters, a Bishop and a Shadower, who are equipped with fully scrolled gear, and I already have INT equips (cape, bath robe, mask, etc.) that would be able to give me around 80-90 bonus INT at level 50.

How many washes would I need to do in order to achieve this goal, and would I need to add base INT to be able to wash that many times? I believe I calculated this a long time ago, and it ended up being several hundred washes, but I was hoping someone here who really knows what he or she is doing could help me out.

    Thanks!

You don't need to wash a sair much if at all because it can kill your ship faster, although I'm not sure if this still holds true for Pink Been. When in your battleship it takes the damage you would normally take, meaning that when you get 1/1'd from a boss, the ship will take your HP minus one as damage. So let's say you washed and have 10k hp, when you are 1/1'd your ship will take 9,999 damage; but if you didn't wash and have, let's say, 6k HP your ship will only take 5,999 damage, assuming you're at full health when you are 1/1'd. If you want to try to get really good at playing sair you could wash your character and try to dismount your ship right before you are 1/1'd, mitigating the damage to your ship, but if it were me I wouldn't want to risk it.

Overall, you can do what you want, but washing sairs is generally not needed. But if anyone can give any info on PB and washing please chime in!

I think you need about 11.5k hp (with hyper body), in order to survive at PB. I made some rough calculations a while ago, and I believe it amounted to about 850 washes or so, (mp washing, HP washing, and int to dex/str), but I'll go ahead and re-calculate to verify.
I'm fairly certain that MP washing is necessary to get to the required HP amount (about 250 base int or so).

Unfortunately, at the current state of corsairs, higher HP has a negative effect on DPS as 1/1's will take more hp off of the boat, so you'll most likely be off of your boat for longer. But if a certain skill change is made in the new source (which I think it will), it will allow sairs to increase the skill level of the battleship, without increasing the cooldown time, and so the boat will have more HP without sacrificing boat on time.

Again this is based off of what I have picked up on over a little while, and some very rough calculations and assumptions, so my numbers could be completely off.

So do you think it's best for me to just put most of my AP into HP over the first 40-50 levels or so? I'm not exactly sure how else I could achieve 250 INT.

What I did was I mp washed from lvl35-120 with 170 base int and I have 7.8k hp and 6.2k mp.

A competent corsair should not be getting hit by 1/1's so it's actually beneficial to wash your sair. Even with 7.8k hp I was able to go through a whole HT without losing my ship once.

To learn more about how mp washing works you should check Barbell's guide on mp washing

Keep in mind that you don't have to HP wash your Corsair immediately. Save up and hoard MP so that when you do decide to HP Wash, all you need to do is take away from your MP and add it to your HP.
