Will there be a patcher like there was for some time last year?

Kinda nice with that instead of having to go download individual files as of the way it is now.

Cant wait for the new source its gonna be great

 

For the open beta, you will need to download the full setup as there is a new client and a whole new set of WZ files. In the future, a patcher will be a possibility

 

Will Blackfist cloaks be introduced?
Will Balanced furys be introduced?

 

If you had read the first reply on this thread, you would have found answers to those 2 questions.

If the cloak is from CWKPQ, then yes.

Yes, balanced furies will be added.

Since its a brand new source made by them, the bugs wont be transferred over to it. Other bugs may come though.

 

Will support for widescreen be added?

 

That's a client limitation. Since we are using the original GMS v83 client, the same restrictions that are in there will exist with the new source. So no, there will not be widescreen support at this time.

 

so does that mean
if i play on live server like i do right now
and after finish the beta for new source all the game will go to new source right ?

but what about items ? mesos ? everything else ?

The live server and beta server are completely separate. I don't know how else to explain it.

When beta opens they will use an old database skeleton from either the day the beta happens or bit older. Everything you do on the beta server will not be transferred. Meanwhile, you can play on the old server (current) at same time still and everything you do there WILL be transferred over once the new server goes from Open Beta to release.

The Open Beta is purely for people willing to test for bugs and help the staff. You do not play Open Beta for ppl2pass reasons whatsoever.

TLDR: If you are willing to help, download the new content that gets released when Open Beta is out. If you are not willing to help, do nothing and keep play the current server.

 

Nothing you do on the beta server will matter on the live server when the new source goes live. (Progress-wise)

Your characters, mesos, level, fame, items and everything else on the LIVE server will be what you have when the new source goes live.

 

Will we have fusion anvil upon release?

 

No. Fusion Anvil was added to the game much later than Big Bang.

 

Will you be punished for breaking the T&C (minor offenses, obviously not hacking) in the open beta? Can I mass defame and harass people I don't like without getting the banhammer? Don't want to throw any names out there but @omgitsdiana, @Whale and @Okie come to mind.

I'm pretty sure the T&C applies to the beta, it's not a free ticket to harass people..

 

What if you get banned (not for harassment) on the live server for e.g. botting or account sharing? Would they be able to play beta?

I know people that are temp banned but would still want to help on open beta.
