Spear is forced stab, so they still have the 5.0 STR multiplier even with their minimum range. The lower multiplier is only for the unfavorable attack (swing with spear or stab with polearm). The same mechanic applies to blunt weapons and axes. But regardless, Heroes are OP, that's just how it is. My own calculations put DrKs at about 90% of the DPS of Heroes with no SE/SI.
@Huff already PM'd me that earlier, but thanks for pointing that out. I never play Warriors and forgot about the whole stab/swing thing. Changed that on the sheet and I'll remember that when doing the other DPS! Edit: Now that I changed it, your numbers seem correct. DrK is slightly under Hero in terms of DPS now. Thanks, it's all working now!
Finished the sheet; the only thing that has to be done now is optimisation of the formulas (which won't affect the values) and @Plenty factoring in SE/SI for Mages.
I'm pretty sure Blast does not affect the swing:stab ratio, so it's still 3:2. I don't have bw mastery, so I can't test this very accurately. If that's the case, 1h bw damage is 98% of 1h swords and 2h bw damage is 92% of 2h swords. Yet another reason Crushed Skull is the best bw by a mile. Spoiler: Weapon multiplier math Code: 4.0 1h sword 4.4 1h bw swing 3.2 1h bw stab 1h bw avg = 4.4*(3/5) + 3.2*(2/5) = 3.92 1h bw avg / 1h sword = 3.92/4.0 = 98% 4.6 2h sword 4.8 2h bw swing 3.4 2h bw stab 2h bw avg = 4.8*(3/5) + 3.4*(2/5) = 4.24 2h bw avg / 2h sword = 4.24/4.6 = 92%
When I tested the formula I made, I used the favourable attack at all times, and the numbers I got seem realistic. When I actually factored in both weapon multipliers, I got some really weird results, so I only used the favourable multiplier.
How did you test it, and what kind of results were you getting? I highly doubt that Blast is forced swing. I would at least recommend using the average bw multipliers: 3.92 1h, 4.24 2h. Either way, it looks like you're using the 1h sword multiplier of 4.0 for 1h bw instead of 4.4. Also, I'm noticing that the weapons all have varying attacks. You've got some perfect weapons, many with varying amounts of attack under perfect (16~20), and claws with an impressive 26 atk under perfect. Is there some reasoning behind this, like rarity? If there is no meso limit for this DPS chart, why not have them all with equivalent scrolling?
Got following results with your multipliers. I honestly don't know much about Warriors so I'll leave it to you and others to tell me if this seems right. (with Divine attribute, so +40% damage. No elemental weakness.) As for the weapons, I didn't change that. People just change it. I added a 'Perfect W.ATT' column to allow people to quickly change the weapon stats and use the sheet as comparison amongst classes. But people can still edit their W.ATT on weapons to either find out their DPS by messing around with the W.ATT until the displayed range is the same/very similar to his or her own or to find out their DPS at level 200. Edit: Something I just noticed that I'm guessing many people didn't know and I actually didn't expect: A decent Shadower (in terms of dropping speed) with equal gear compared to a Corsair will actually outdamage the Corsair at Krexel and possibly Zakum if Energizers are being used. Heartstoppers or higher means the Corsair will win.
Could you add Colorful Tube to the BW section, its the fastest and highest 1h bw , and i would like to see how the damage holds up.
Sorry, no. I tested DPS on several 1H BW and Crushed Skull came out as obvious winner. It's meant to compare the best form of DPS per class to each other and to see when you should use what weapon (for Warriors).
I thought Red Katana could only reach 128 attack when perfected, but this list states 138! 93 + 35 = 128
