Most people probably won't know me, I'm history, my last post was two years ago. Long story short, it was at a time when MapleRoyals was going through a crisis and I was the biggest advocate to bail out by moving to v83. I aggressively pushed based on my own interests really, and eventually dropped out when I didn't enjoy the v62 experience, I told Matt and the crew that it was never going to last and would fail if it didn't change as it was slowly going downhill, but he held tight and stayed loyal to what he created, how he created it. Holy shit did it last. Back when I played most servers dropped within 3 months, the environment was ugly and things were all moving towards Extalia and the big post BB servers at the time where the nostalgic dreamers kept dropping like crops in a locust field; then I found this place, it was small and cozy and although a little hesitant, stood strong. I just want to say now, 2 full years later, you proved me wrong as hell and I'm really happy to see this place and where it is! Good memories, good times and yeah, you're right, v62 is the best and the real nostalgia.
It's taken a lot of hard work and determination that's for sure. And we wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the rest of the staff team, and of course, the players. In regards to v0.83 though. We are technically moving to "v0.83" soon. But we won't be using all the features in it. But the main reason for this is stability with a source code created from scratch.
It only took two years!? I'm joking. It is quite amazing to see this continue like this and not only that, but to grow this much; of all the private servers I've been around back in the day, Royals is the little guy who pulled through and beat all the big guns to make yourself the best. Goodluck again, I'll be around.
