Getting horrible forum lag

Not sure if this is the right section, but don't really know where to post this.

Ever since Maple Royals changed IP, I've been getting really bad lag on the forum. The main website's fine and so is the game, but browsing the forum is so slow I could go make a cup of coffee in the time it takes some threads to load.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

 

I get the same thing, and I doubt there is anything we can do about it since it's not on my end (every other website loads within a second except MR forums).

 

It occurs sporadically and seems to affect every part of the forum. I just refresh New Posts and whenever I try to access a certain thread in any sub-forum, it takes 2-5 minutes to load. At this very moment I experience no lag tho, but 20 minutes ago I did.

 

That's a good description of what I've been getting, too!

 

This lag has resurfaced for me.

 

Anybody else experiencing really bad forum lag at the moment? (Not getting anything here, but Vic's recent report was 5 hours ago, while I was asleep, so it may have gone.)

 

No problems here neither now nor when Vic made the post.

 

I use Firefox. And I'm wondering if Vic's lag had anything to with the huge number of "guests" who visited the forum yesterday.

 

Possibly? I have no idea, I didn't check for that. But it's very possible we're the unlucky few who use FF and hence experience forum lag because of that. Now it's all good though!
