So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for general and quick questions, provided with quick answers. This would make it easier to consolidate the quick to ask and easy to answer questions into one thread, and alleviate needless and repeated threads (hopefully). I feel it may especially be needed and useful for something like this server, being based on a very old version of MS. That people haven't played in years, like myself. Or haven't found or wanted to find a guild, or bother other players with questions and feel like a noob (like myself). The shoutbox is a great place for quick questions indeed, but a thread would serve a purpose of documenting any questions and their respective answers for anyone who may also have that question. So I'm going to start off with a few questions that I probably once knew but forgot, or questions specifically about the server and how private servers work in general. That I couldn't find myself using the search feature. Which any Royaler should make use of, by the way. If the thread becomes popular -- and I hope it does -- I could potentially consolidate all the Q&A into this post for easy Ctrl+F searching. So please, if you find the time and are knowledgeable, help out here if people ask questions. (I hope they ask!) Q: Does it become easier, later on, to collect NX? I'm finding it difficult to see how people can amass something like 200+ AP resets to sell in one go, as I see in smega sometimes. I mean that's like 100+ days of voting without ever spending... I've tried farming the bosses but 99% of the time they are already dead. With a hefty ~4 hour respawn, it's hard to imagine you can effectively farm them enough, seeing as time is money. Q: If I were to create another account to have another character to play, would I safely be able to vote on that account? Or would it somehow cause suspicion and a ban. Even though I would only be voting once a day still, abiding the ToS. Q: I remember seeing a Royal tip. I can't remember it fully. But it said something I believe about trading Nexon Cash for Meso would warrant a ban? What does it mean? Is this true, or do I remember it wrong? Q: How bad actually is Final Attack (specifically for Page)? I've seen why it's bad. But has there been tests to see just how much it'll lower your mobbing damage, and speed over a span of say an hour? It's a cool skill, and I feel bad not getting it. Min-maxing is great, but if it decreases efficiency by something like 3%, I'd rather have it. Especially since I would assume it's great for single target bossing. I believe that's it for me. Hopefully people will use the thread as a resource. If not, hopefully my questions get answers
a. if you can kill bigger bosses they can drop leafs worth 5k nx a. not allowed a. doesn't apply here a. idk
For the last question - I'd definitely go for Final Attack simply because it looks pretty freaking cool
If I choose to get it, I wouldn't have the points to max it. As I'm level 62 and have begun dipping back into warrior skills to max Iron Body or whatever it's called. So at this point I have no room to do so currently (I also maxed threaten, looks like it'll be viable soon). So I guess I have another question - What happens when I remove points from Iron Body, are the points locked to Warrior, or can I place them in Pages' Final Attack?
For the second question, as long as you vote once a day (every 24 hours) only once, it doesn't matter what account you do it on. So you can vote on one account on day 1, then vote for the second account day 2 and there would be not problems as long as its 24 hours apart.
You could fight high tier bosses like Zakum or Horntail for higher chance of Maple Leaf drops, but you're better off just being patient and gathering up the daily 8,000 NX. As long as you abide to voting once a day, you can vote on any account. Think that rule had to do something with real world trading rather than exchange NX goods for Mesos. Final Attack is awful. It does less damage than Power Strike and it's slower. The big issue is the mobbing of Final Attack. Rather than each monster getting hit by 130% per Slash Blast, the 250% from Final Attack gets distributed randomly between how ever many monsters you attack i.e. 100%-50%-50%-25%-25%. Do not put a single point into that skill no matter what class you are.
