Jovi's Horn tail Squad

Hello my fellow royalers,

Since there hasn't been any active horn tail squads lately, I have decided to create one to help people get what they need.

You may buddy,pm in forum, whisp in game if you have any questions.

Rules:

1. In order to apply, just post on this thread, your...

Ign, time available, level, job, and loots needed.

2.Before the run, you must have a dragon elixir ready to use. Otherwise you will be replaced and will have to apply for another run.

3. If the server is lagging or if we dc, we will postpone the run an hour later if we do not get rewarped.

4. There will be a point system for books only. Ht necklaces and eggs are 100% free if you are an attacker. We will decide who gets pendant and egg before the run. If you are a low level and want to buy htp early, we charge 250m+100 for egg. Vip loots are 450m and you get all htp and the egg.

5. There is no specified time for a run. It is up to the people who applied. If a group are available around the same time, we will be running, so make sure to let me know time available.

6. If people are available for more than 1 run, we can run multiple runs if desired. Warning : if you cancel or cannot make a run, you must let me know at least one hour beforehand. Otherwise I will subtract 2 points.


7. Everyone in the attacker party who is not looting htp or egg and survive the whole run are entitled to splits if a book sells. Otherwise, u can save up points and redeem books from me for free.

8. Once you have enough points, u can receive any ht book from me for free.

9.Point system is as follows :

Surviving pre head 1: two points

Surviving pre head 2: two points

Surviving Ht itself:two points

Grand total of 6 pts a run.

10. Point system will be in second post.

Most importantly, let's all have fun and get to know each other more while getting sweet loots.

Maple warrior 20: 18 pts

Genesis 30: 13 pts

Blizzard 30: 8 pts

Triple throw 30:10 pts

Berserk 30:6 pts

Enrage 30: 5 pts

Concentrate 30:5 pts

Meteor shower 30: 6 pts

Heavens hammer 30: 3 points

Snipe 30: 3 points

Airstrike 30: 3 points

Time leap 30: 3 pts

I will be in charge of looting the books and handing them out after a run, if you have enough pts. However, if I am out of stock on a book, I will buddy list you and let you know when I have enough points.

If no one is redeeming a book during a run, I will record the books and split profit accordingly.

Can I have confirmation of the following hypothetical situation ?

SURVIVE ONE ENTIRE HORNTAIL RUN (WOW ONE ENTIRE RUN OMG SOOO DIFFICULT). GET 6 POINTS. TAKE YOUR BERSERK30 BECAUSE IT IS ONLY WORTH 6 POINTS. SELL FOR EZ PROFITS.

 

Don't forget the "breaking economy" part. Because damn, in a near future I can assume people will drop ht books in fm entrance. lol.

Sorry that was rude. What I'm trying to say is while you have good intentions, there are going to people willing to take advantage of your kindness.

 

^ yeah I was abit taken aback by the tone of her earlier message. But I agree with her point, I don't see a case where no one in the HT party will choose not to claim the more profitable HT books for points (even if they don't require the books for their own use), the demand for these books will almost always be significantly higher than the supply from your runs, especially at such competitive points-book ratios. I think that's why most "charity" HT runs end up with rules like the person with most points claiming MW20 and deducting all their accumulated points for it so you don't have a whole horde of people clamouring for a MW20 once it drops.

That said, I still think your intentions of a "charity" HT run are noble and such runs are doable, but you might have to iron out some of the details of your run to ensure its viability (perhaps detaching the profit motive from this completely and making books only claimable by points, perhaps tweaking the points needed for books, etc.)

 

Or provide books to those that need them rather than those who are selling them. Once said person has gained that skill, they cannot get the book again.

I may haven't done HT on this server as of yet but, I and the people who know me consider me logical, if there are some suggestions I could give regarding the creation of an ideal point system then it'd be as follows:
First of all you want to estimate how much mesos on average you think should be granted to a member of a squad who stayed in there for the entire run.
the mesos you think should be granted is a value of 6 points.
6points = berserk 30(300m) = meteor shower 30(300m).
lets then say that a member of a ht squad should be awarded 300m if he goes through the entire run(100m for every milestone).
this means that every point should be 50m of books value, then what you want to do is translate the mastery book's current worth to points
current worth/50 = x (x=amount of points the book should have).
for example mw20=1.2b
1.2b/50m=1.2/0.05=24.
this means that the cost of maple warrior 20 should be 24 points (again this is all assuming that the value of a point's worth that was found from meteor shower and berserk is the value you want).
just as an example because I've got nothing to do with my time right now, lets rebuild the list accordingly to the previous points I've made.
Maple warrior 20 : 24pts.
Genesis 30: 26 pts
Blizzard 30: 12 pts
Triple throw 30:12 pts
Berserk 30:6 pts
Enrage 30(not sure if that's really 5m): 1/10 a point
Concentrate 30(not sure if that's really 5m): 1/10 a point

P.S:
Pointing out that if what you are doing is for the sake of others(organizing those runs probably takes time, not that I know:/ ) you shouldn't make books available once as other people suggested, this way people will simply use your runs to get the books they need for their characters rather than staying and helping the others achieve em 2.
What you should do is give a discount to those who want the books for their character, or raise the price in points for those who want to sell it.
