I think there's an item like that in version 83, I'm not sure. What do you guys think? I'm pretty much up for it because I'll do anything to know that my godly item won't blow up.
Protecting/shielding Ward? Or maybe it was Pam's Song? Not very sure but I'd welcome the idea, make them hard to obtain though!
Pams song saved slots if failed. Protecting shielding ward maybe, not sure. But I think people will actually prefer how these items are not in the game and that scrolling is as hard as it should be in v62.
I think shielding wards, easily accessible white scrolls and similar items are only going to shove us in the direction the server was pre-wipe, where everyone has perfect equips and cause us to wipe again. I would rather that godly items remain godly, and scrolling remain difficult instead of just having to buy a few NX items.
Again this word "everyone" is being used like shit making it worthless. The way I see it, there were filthy rich people before the wipe that could buy anything they wanted and there are filthy rich people right now that can buy anything they want in any quantity and scroll godly equips. Just because there are people that can do this don't mean that everyone can do it and that everyone has these godly equips.
If we are implementing this we might awsell get potential, sok, hammers and ees. This just sounds like an easily accessible white scroll. And to be honest it ruins v62 gameplay like any of the above.
The point is to make it harder to achieve end game items. A more challenging atmosphere that infinite nx seems to destroy.
Drama queen much? It's not even the same. I didn't ask for an item that change stats, I asked for an item that keeps them. I'm sorry that not all of us can effort new scrolls and items every time it fails. I know that you probably don't struggle with prices and items, but we do.
No we all have problem with mesos in some way or form. But it's part of the challenge of scrolling. You will repeatedly fail until you can settle for that one item that is scrolled well. I personally prefer the current options we have for scrolling.
You seem to miss what I'm commenting on Ty m8. My comment was about one word and one word only being used in an untruthful way over and over again. I can only judge from my own equips, I had pretty pretty damn good mage equips pre-wipe, but not one was what I would consider a godly end-game equip. And yeah, I struggled hard for my equips back then, I'm still not fully over the fact that everything is gone, like the masks I worked so hard for that people later bitched about because they missed the event or because they just didn't grind and put in the effort and hours needed to get them. So yeah I get pissed when people use terms like that so loosely because I don't think it's fair to others and it's disrespectful. At the end of the day, whatever you do, you will always have the "has" and the "has not" players, you will always have players that are happy with things as is and those that are not happy and want more content or want less content. You will always have those that get bored because it is to easy and those that get bored because it is to hard. It is all relative.
I, as someone who has blown up 24 stoneteeth and still has shit to show for it, and is also flatbroke because of it, see nothing in this suggestion. Even though at this point I'd really like my weapon done, I wouldn't feel accomplished by obtaining it in some shitty cheaty nx2win way. Maplestory is an easy enough game as it is. Please don't make it easier.
I am against this, After SoK, Potential and a bunch of other things came to MapleStory that is when the game went downhill. It would be to easy to achieve godly items in the game, that is one of the reasons for the previous wipe, keep the oldschool MapleStory as it is.
Exactly, being able to vote for NX, makes the game easy enough, I don't know why you need a NX item to prevent booms. If this was implemented, I could vote for 2 weeks, buy of ton of this so called NX item and just bash a bunch of 30% + white scrolls and perfect an item easy.
I didn't said that he can't have his own opinion. I just said that by saying that, he doesn't think about other players who have less then 3B and can't spend their money on new scrolls and etc. EDIT: You see? you're focusing on the wrong side of this thread. I didn't even want people to get it by NX. I just think that this item can be pretty much useful in Royals. You could've add this to gacha or something like that, and make this untradeable, so it won't ruin the economy. I forgot to write it in the thread so, that's for it. as I can see it, you're against it. I'd lie if i'll say that I like the scrolling system as it is. But now I know that other people do like it as it is for some nostalgic reason. I just wanted my item to not explode. Now look, I wasn't playing in Royals when this happened, so I really don't know how you're feeling. It just a suggestion. Or was just a suggestion. No need to go crazy about it.
