Mantouks Ban appeal

I dont fucking need a ban appeal cos you wont fucking unban me anyway. good server with bad GMs. it's impossible to not get banned when you guys are so fucking biased.

Also, rimescale deserves to be defamed. and there are people who got defamed bombed all the time.. no one fucking ever give a damn about defames. except crybaby rimescale. and he can buy fame anytime. hell, our biased GMs can give crybaby all the fame he wants, right?

we all love the server but these ridiculous bans have to stop.

 

here's a better question : why were we all banned for defaming i person? i wasn't aware that defaming people is against the rules. even better question, this is my first offense, why is my ban 10 days? why is every single GM giving me a different answer to the same question? the moderating on this server is poor at best, there is no consistency in how you ban people and what determines if someone deserves a ban or not

 

why does defaming someone constitute as harassment? it's a mechanic of the game

we were following the rules we just wanted wottle unbanned because he didn't break any rules.. also, WHY THE FUCK IS HE STILL PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THE FUCKING FORUMS


a suggestion for gms is to stop banning people for the littlest things. i could screenshot so many things daily to get like 3 people banned per day. its that easy.

 

thank you for reducing my ban time, as it should have been in the first place. i still don't understand why wottle was banned as he did not harass anyone, in any way, shape or form. if you could directly tell me what he did so i could tell him that would be dandy.

 

all he did was get rimescale more defames.. and like you said, defames are not against the rules..

The rules aren't stupid precisely because Harassment is subjective. That is why we take pains to review and examine each case thoroughly. In any case, players are expected to show other players basic respect (it's something we don't need to have a strict rule for, because it's common courtesy- and speaks volumes of your personal conduct if we made it black and white), and any actions which cause your fellow players discomfort is highly discouraged.

We want to maintain a safe and fun environment in royals for everyone. In case this isn't clear- the staff of Mapleroyals do not tolerate online bullying of any kind. You lot may find it funny but to someone else it may be offensive- which is why we step in when someone does something which could be classified as injurious.

Would you like it if someone called his entire guild to defame you (even tracking you down to do so) while one of his more outspoken friends called you deregatory terms or phrases suggesting such?

How can royals be fun and safe when people get banned for the slightest stuff. It's just defamation, not bullying. It's not like we'll continue to defame him everyday.

 

No, it is bullying. Tracking down a player throughout the server and sending all of your guildmates to defame them is harassment/bullying in its purest form. We'll see you after your ban is lifted.
