You did offend at least three players, all of whom responded to me in various ways almost immediately to express distaste for the word "gook." The words you used were real, they were in Korean. Like you said yourself in this thread, you're new here, so there is no reason to use your mother tongue since you don't know anyone here yet. Furthermore, there is definitely no reason for a new player to use offensive slangs in another language; anyone who does understand it is just likely to be put off by it.
