Aviate's Farewell

Oh boy... Where do I even begin to start? It felt like I was writing my introduction thread yesterday and already I'm saying my goodbyes. Sometimes good things have to come to an end and I am going to truly miss this community. You guys have done so much for me, and I cannot thank you guys enough. I had a blast spending my hours on these servers and meeting so many different people. I am going to try and do my best to include you, and I apologize if I miss anyone. Honestly spending time writing this makes me feel really sad so I'll try to make it short as possible.

The reason for my departure is simply I need to spend my time doing other valuable things. Today my good friend Jeff messaged me on Skype saying that he was quitting. I asked him why, and he asked me "don't you ever think you could be spending your time doing something else?". It hit me at this point when I realized what the hell am I doing with my life. What am I doing leeching someone for hours upon hours of my day when I could be spending it with my friends and family? It didn't hit me until now that I was slowly losing myself and I needed to make a change or otherwise this will take over my childhood. Whenever I play a game I always want to be the best so playing for an hour wasn't going to cut it. And everyday I would always want to get stronger, richer, and so this would lead me to play hours and hours. Therefore, I'm quitting completely and giving away all of my stuff to my friends that truly deserve it.

When I first started Royals, I remember meeting a guy named Flamey. I didn't know I was going to play this server at all, so everyday I went on I would just sit in the FM and troll random people. I would sit in the FM and beg for mesos to get my hair changed. When I changed my hair it would always end up with something bad and people laughed at me. I was having so much fun making people crack up, because I looked so dumb so I kept begging for mesos and this led me to meeting one of my friends to this day --- Flamey. I don't know his forum name so if you're reading this, what's good bro. I'm going to miss you, thanks for making me laugh everytime I see you, you stupid beggar ;3

I remember when I started to take the game a bit seriously and I started training a lot. I bumped into you at LMPQ and I always thought that you were a girl. To be honest, that was probably the only reason we became friends HAHAHA and than as time went on we became closer and I found out you were a guy LOLOL. RIP DREAMS jk, but yeah you were like a brother to me afterwards. You always helped me when I needed it and you provided me with all the price checks no matter what, and I want to thank you for that. Thank you for the memories you created with me

To be honest, I don't remember where we met but it might've been at wolf spiders. But who cares, the one experience I remember with you was when we stole that girls skeles map HAHAHA. It was literally the funniest thing ever and I felt sooooo bad for stealing her map. I'm laughing right now thinking about it... For people reading this what happened was we were both looking for a skele map with each other and when we went to this girl's channel she said "cc or report" but no one was attacking so Snake was like yo don't cc stay. So we stayed for a few minutes and no one came so we started attacking. We eventually got map owner and said "cc or report" and she left salty af. At that moment I realized the badass person you were Khoa and you became one of my best friends.

After training at wolf spiders, I eventually moved on to bigger and better things. This was when I became a big boy and went to himes where I first met you!!!! Oh boy, I don't remember who you were with but he was your senpai and I was loki jealous. I wanted to be yo senpai But, things happened and we stopped being friends but I'm so glad we became friends again. You're so kind and every day seeing you/talking to you made my day better. Thank you for saying hi to me, because if you didn't we would've probably never been friends again. I'm so sorry for deleting you in the first place and I should've never done it. I'm not like the type of person you are and I don't think I can be the type of person you are. You're so outgoing and friendly thank you for making my days brighter

Emily, I just want to let you know that you're truly amazing. Like you're wife goals legit. Please never stop being you, because you're the type of person I strive to be. I wish I could be like you honestly. You barely f'ing knew me and you f'ing leeched me to 120. Like who tf does that????? Man, it's making me emotional thinking about how nice you are to me, a stranger, someone who you didn't have to do shit for... You could've sold leech for money instead you decided to help me for hours. You helped me with krex pre-quests you helped me with everything I asked for. I've never seen a time when you were raging or mad, or anything you just bring super positive vibes and that's what I love about you. The way we met was not like any other. You responded to one of my stupid smegas like the person I was back than and we had the best role-playing conversations. I wish I saved some of those convos we had, because they were so funny. When I was talking to you I was trying so hard to be serious, because that was 0% of the real me. However, thanks so much for being so genuine and kind I'm going to honestly miss you so much. Oh daddy, you are the best. I remember I met you, because I was tryna find a wife. I was bored and I wanted to be in one of the roleplaying moments I usually had. Thanks for going along with it, because it turned out you were actually a really funny and outgoing guy. If you were boring af, I would've stopped talking to you, but you made me laugh more than I normally did. You became probably one of my best friends on this game, and you were like a true dad to me. Always keepin me out of my trouble and I appreciate that <3

When I told you I was quitting you asked for my shit, you didn't even care about me how dare you... Jk, but thanks for always giving me good FM Spots bro. You always think that I'm mad at you, but I honestly never was. You're way too nice, and I would never want to lose a friend like you. You cared about our friendship and that's what made me like you so much. You didn't want us to lose our friendship when we had that little fight, and that's when I realized you were a true friend. Ario, my guild leader where do we start? When I saw you in the FM's I always looked up to you in a way. I always thought you were the most chill and pro player ever. I always wanted to be like you when I was a noob, and you inspired me to start my own guild. However, that came falling down and you invited me to your guild with open arms. Even though I was super immature you saw the good in me. You saw that when I'm serious that I'm willing to help others and when I joined your guild I didn't want to let you down. I tried to stop being so immature from what I was, because I knew if I was I would fail you. I didn't want you to look at me as if I was a loser. I was always thinking, would Ario approve of me doing this so I thank you for that. Thank you for the opportunities you gave me, and it definitely made my experience here at Royals so much better. You're like no other guild leader, you care about the guild so much and you work so hard on it. People might not see the effort you put into the guild, but I definitely do. I see the work you do, and I admire you for that. Thank you for the experiences and the amazing guild runs/gpqs we had together. You're an awesome person and I hope that we stay in touch.

Hey I know we didn't talk all that much but still wanted to say this.
I quit for the same reason as you did 1 year ago, but came back about 2 weeks ago. I didn't even want to come back until a friend explained me her philosophy to finding balance between enjoying yourself (in this case maple) and work.

In short terms, a person needs to relax. If you play Maple JUST for relaxation, put some nice music on and socialize with friends... You don't have to spend more than an hour a day. No one is forcing anyone to come for Zakum or whatever. It's just to make yourself relax. And that's the only reason why I still play. On the other hand, I do play a lot, but that's only because I have a goal set for myself.

If you're able to find the balance which is right for yourself, you could see yourself coming back in the future. Just promise yourself not to over do it. If you feel you can handle that, and do other things like housework, learn a language and play the piano or whatever it is that you do. You should definitely give it a go. Once I set my goals, I will back off and play Maple no longer than 2 hours a day (with some exceptions). I won't set new goals because I know that wouldn't be good for me.

Either way, you were a good guy and I hope you'd come back one day.

 

Andy it was nice meeting you and bumping into you from time to time. I respect your hustle and dedication. Hope you achieve your tier 1 goals in real life
