When I try to launch the game I get an error message saying 'An error has occurred while executing this program, free up harddrive space and try again.' Any suggestions? Yes, I have more than enough free disk space.
What kind of OS do you have? And can you post some more details about your computer. RAM total, CPU/RAM/Disk usage? Also, how old is your computer, or more specifically, your hard drive?

First thing is first, try running it as Administrator. In fact, right click > properties > Compatibility > check Run this program as administrator. Also, through the task manager, under the performance tab, can you tell me how much of your CPU/RAM/Disk usage is?

Yeah. From all the answers I get from googling it seems to be an admin rights thing, but nothing works for me. I turned off UAC but it made no difference.

Good news, everyone! I did a manual install and it worked! My guess is something goes wrong during the installation regarding admin rights.
