New player here, I really wan't to play a NightLord but I heard that they're pretty expensive to start off as due to HP Washing etc etc...would it be wise as a new player to play that class first?

In my opinion, you shouldn't mainly because exactly what you said. I found it very easy to make a bishop, grind and farm until level 50, while saving NX cash for gacha, and then BAM! I started out my Night Lord a couple of weeks later with okay funds I conjured up with my mage. But to each it's own, remember that! ~f13

Firstly, you posted in the wrong forum section.

Secondly, they are expensive, but it's still doable to start with it as your main character. Remember that if you make another character, even after you get it to fourth job and start making money, you still have to make a brand new NL and spend another couple weeks leveling it up. So it's up to you if you wanna spend an extra month leveling up a mage for farming, or start right off the bat with a weaker night lord

People think it's terribly expensive to wash an assassin, but it's really not. As long as you have 20 INT on your character by level 68, you'll be fine. Just adding 16 INT to your pre-existing 4 INT is very cheap, especially since it can be covered by a Zakum Helmet. You could also just add 16 INT onto your character with your levelUP AP, and just do a little less damage. It is absolutely possible to make your first character a Night Lord. Just get some cheap accuracy equips, or add a bit into DEX, so you don't miss, and get your INT to 20 by level 68, and you will be set for later. You'll need about 500m at level 140+ in order to wash with AP Resets, but you won't have to worry about that until late, and it shouldn't be hard to accumulate 500m by then.

The problem is that if any bosses past HT are added to the server, or if you want to do HT without HB, you'll be permanently gimped by making an NL as your first character.

That said, it's perfectly fine to do so anyway, as no new bosses have been confirmed, and most HT parties have a DK anyway.

    Start with a Bishop.
    Get to 120.
    Get genesis.
    Make a thief.
Leech it while bringing in that cold hard cash to fund it.
