So the other day, the weirdest thing happened ... I don't really use this forum much, but I thought I'd share this . I don't wanna cause any arguments or anything here so I'm gonna keep it anonymous. When I was just randomly sitting in fm, as you do, someone started talking to me, saying, or demanding even, I should stop selling leech at the price I do or stop selling leech in total ... Apparently I was "stealing" clients from other leechers and that I was trying to form a monopoly . I mean seriously ? Had no idea this turned into a business and selling leech out of price would cause demands of immediate change ... My service was; I'm 1hit in Wolf Spiders , Ulu 1, Ulu 2 and 2hit, with 1hit combined, (since not 100% 1hit id count it as 2hit) in Skele and Petris with 30m/hr anywhere and I'd give a few extra mins at the end of the leech, because why not, and if the person leeching was 75% or more at the end of the leech, I would level him/her up. (I'm an I/L with an HS mule if needed). I would chat with the person a lot, get to know them and be friends ... That was the main reason why I was leeching people, to get to know new people and make new friends as well as leech people who cannot afford proper leech, since I'm not a competitive player, I don't need big mesos ... Obviously it was wrong of me to even think such a thing ... So I decided to not charge any mesos at all from now on ... Just wanted to share this and get it off my chest ... I honestly think this situation is incredibly wrong ... Play the game as competitively and as hardcore as you want but trying to change the way other people play it so that you can be more comfy ? Telling them to stop selling leech in this case ? Thanks for reading . Didn't really know where to post it (can tell I don't use the forums) hoping this was the right place .
I think it's awesome that you talk with your leechers and give them leech for free sometimes. The community needs more people like you. Yeah it's pretty upsetting how competitive the community has gotten. Especially in this economy where the best source of income is selling leech.
Lmao, just ignore that. I leech people for free all the time when I feel they deserve it. But I charge high amounts because I'm probably the only one that can go for 16~20 hours without taking a second break (apart from toilet), and people love that service. If you charge 65mil an hour and cant provide anything new to get customers, then blame yourself.
I think what you are doing is great, and providing it for free sometimes is really nice of you too! If you are willing to sell for lower prices and that drives away their customers then they either need to adapt or offer something special for the increased price.
Thanks everyone ! Means a lot ! Wasn't really expecting this much feedback hahaha ! This only made me wanna give leech more haha ! Yea ! Thats what I was giving that service for ! The joy of meeting new people, hearing what they have to tell you and eventually become friends .. I think almost 90% of the people who I leeched became a friend . It was so simple what I could do but might be worth something huge to them ! For example I created my character around october last year and got to 14x then took a big break, when I came back again a person remembered me and recognised my ign and said that me helping him at the time really meant so much for him . For me something like this would worth much more than any mesos I can get here ... I know some people can take advantage of it but if that's what they came here for, then there's nothing that can stop them ... If I give leech to for example 10 people and 9 takes advantage of it, that 1 person would be more than enough . My plan is not to try to fight the leech prices or certainly not to form a monopoly haha , I'm not expecting the same to be done to me either ... Just wanna help players the best way I can .. I come here to kill time why not be a helpful person ... If I can be the reason of making someone's day with simplest thing I can do, I'd wanna go for it
