Homing beacon will only focus all your attacks on a single monster until it is killed or you use it on another monster. With bullseye, the damaged applied to that monster is increased. So yes, bullseye is only activated if the monster you are attacking has been hit by a homing beacon.
And it does work on bosses right? Let's say I wanna zak. I just use homing beacon on his arms and then his body to apply the effects of bullseye
Yes, it works on all bosses. You will have to use it on every new arm or every zak body once it dies though.
Great guide Although, You probably should update the guide since we're gonna need 9k for HT in the not too distant future so telling new players who read this guide that they won't need to wash is a bit misleading.
Was just about to say this guide needs an update since its been a long time. I just made a Gunslinger aswell and liking it so far. I was going to follow this guide but seems pretty out of date.

Wouldn't it make the most sense to max flamethrower before ice splitter if you want to go to wolf spiders as early as possible? I have enough HP to survive 2 hits from them at level 75, and I figured the bonus fire damage would be beneficial at WS.
If you mean at Zakum, because that's the boss who can destroy your ship easily like less than 1Min. You have to dismount each you see animation on Zakum, you have some high level you could know what animation is the most important to avoid, the 1/1 is the one who will destroy the ship the faster and even more if you have HB because this skill ( zakum ) depend of your Max Hp.
The only way to do that is to learn the attack patterns of the boss you are fighting. It can definitely take some time to adjust but you'll eventually get it. Keep practicing!
yeah i seem to struggle with that but maybe its because im only level 122 with only 8k battleship health
Normaly you don't use the battleship till you can't boss, so level 135 your ship start to be a bit tanky ^^
personally i've leech my corsair to be level135 and then boss only ^^ The long cooldown of the ship slowdown your grinding, but with freez + rapid fire you can still do something ^^ And of course for BF , Papu use it ^^
