hey, I'm kinda new to the forum, and I only opened this account to try and get what I lost... I waited for 3 hours for manon to show up, for my genesis quest, after 3 long hours he finally showed up, and I kept dying all the time from his magic attacks, even though I used magic guard! I started with 40% and ended with 0%... but that not the bad news... I got the manon cry, but couldn't pick it up till it dissapeared!! I made sure that the other guy that was helping me didn't pick it up by mistake and he didn't, I just couldn't pick it up please help me guys.. that was not cool at all ): I attack pictures to prove me right me proving that I had 40% before starting (plus using magic guard..) unable to pick up the cry + 0%
Two problems. When doing the quest for the first time, you have to kill it. You cannot have someone helping you. They can get it low for you, but they have to leave the party and the map and you have to be the one who kills manon, or else you can't pick up. 2nd, Manon dispels, so it gets rid of your magic guard. This isn't a bug, it's just how the boss works. Unfortunately, you'll have to find another manon and make sure you are the person who kills it this time (and make sure no one else is in the map).
I know that he can dispel, but I made absolute sure that the guard was still on my screen, when he dispels the skills dissapear, and in this case they didn't about the thing that I've to kill it, I didn't know that and this is probably the reason why I couldn't pick it up... too bad I deploy to the base tommorow so my next chance will be in like 2 weeks yes
First if you have someone helping you make them leave the map before manon dies. Second: mobs have a problem with lacking cd on skills which makes manon dispell and attack right after making it tough for mages.
I wanted to hear you out but someone else in the game told me it doesn't matter if he stays or not, and he was right.. I was able to pick up the manon's cry but that problem isn't it's like every 10 seconds, every time I go near manon I instantly die, which makes it nearly impossible to hit it
I didn't explain everything, there are two types of Manon cries the first time you do the quest you get a different cry than when you do it the second time, which is why you can't loot it since there is another bug where you can see quest items you shouldn't be able to see. No one except mages have had your insta kill problem, at least no one has ever mentioned it in any bug report before. It's cause he dispels your magic guard, if you tank the body he shouldn't be able to dispel you, also you can have someone else bring it down to very low hp then leave the map and you just last hit it.
