For those who don't know, Pocket Maplestory recently officially released in the US and elsewhere. There's nothing particularly great about it, but it's hard to resist a little maple on the go. It works on BlueStacks (Android emulator for computers), but I haven't yet figured out how to control the game via keyboard. Boss fights are pretty hard due to the wonky touch controls and it would be really helpful. It does have an autoattack/bot function built in, so you can still afk farm mesos while playing something else, sitting in class, etc. and not drain your phone battery. STATS ARE SET TO AUTO-ASSIGN BY DEFAULT. TURN THIS FUNCTION OFF IMMEDIATELY. My IGN is Goofy, of course.
My IGN is kitarei, I'll add you both now. PS: Tip, use the auto-combat function to move around maps while doing quests, then just hit your hot-keyed pots and other skills manually. You will continue to move around to the next mob + basic attack.
Dunno how it is for other jobs, but my angelic buster is terrible on autocombat--walking straight into mobs most of the time. It's especially bad at Aqua (where I currently am). Total waste of pots. I already gave in and NX'd my character. Lol. Damn you, Nexon.
I'm an AB too and Aqua is really bad - I agree. It's fine on regular walking maps though. Yeah I NX'd mine too. :/ GOTTA LOOK CUTE, YO. Edit: Use the first job skill that returns HP to you when you attack! I forget the name, it's on the last page of skills and I think it has the word 'power' in it. SAVES SO MANY POTS. You basically regain health everytime you attack, making the Auto Combat much more viable.
First job I maxed that first - followed by some passives (mastery I think). I didn't bother with any of the actually skills - I just used basic attack + auto combat & pressed that skill every minute or so. 2nd job + I went back and put some points into actual skills to meet prerequisites.
I'll install this tomorrow. This game sounds confusing though. (Actually, maple in general is confusing)
Im actually really disappointed with pocket maplestory, I still have maplestory live deluxe on my spare iphone 4 and it completely makes pocket maplestory look like trash in graphics, controls, AI, and Quests. I mean maybe they plan to update it like deluxe, but seriously was pissed when I first played that nonsense. And if people dont agree I could probably record some gameplay on that old phone, it was the best ios game ive ever had besides the zenonia series. (Which also the new Zenonia S is just as bad as a downgrade!). Nexon def half assed this game to milk cash cows. But hopefully they will take a 180 update what really needs to be fixed.
Made a new character called Strutis, level 58 DS. Maining him atm cus DB got boring after hitting 40ish.
