I have bit of a conundrum regarding my night lord, in that: Well-scrolled Pirate Skirts are a scarcity (no one hunts Master Death Teddies or Blue Kentasaurus) Osfa Pants are common but a good pair puts you above 140 DEX needed for a Craven So the way I see it, I got a couple of options: Try to scroll a 8 LUK Pink Mystique Pants (aim for 12-15 DEX/8 LUK) Spend an exorbitant amount of time farming godly Pirate Skirts and try to scroll one to satisfaction Buy a pair Osfa Pants and just accept that the extra DEX is inefficient Forget Craven, go for a Dragon Sleeve Curious to hear your thoughts and how other night lords have approached this dilemma...
What I decided to do was leech at Squids for a nice clean pair of Osfa Pants because I was going for a Dragon Sleeve. I scrolled one up to 19 Dex 9 Luk and stuck with that. I wouldn't go with a single stat Luk Pants because you never know when a nice female thief bottom will show up and you'll want to cap off your Dex. With the Osfa Pants and Dragon Sleeve, I'm still able to maintain Dexless with a Dragon Sleeve so it's not worth going through the hassle of finding a nice pirate bottom unless you're thinking of using a Red Craven. Most of the time, a nice clean Purple Dragon Sleeve will beat a perfect clean Red Craven because Dex is a very easy stat to get via scrolling and clean equips. Here's my equips (Only giving Dex). My base Dex right now is 50 and with Maple Warrior 20, my total is 152: 30 Dex Zakum Helmet 5 Dex Maple Leaf 13 Dex Earrings 2 Dex Raccoon Mask 10 Dex Top 19 Dex Osfa Pants 3 Dex Event Ring 8 Dex Almighty Ring 7 Dex Horntail Necklace Keep in mind, I haven't egged my Horntail Necklace, scrolled my Maple Leaf, I can still improve my Zakum Helmet and Horntail Necklace, improve on my Raccoon Mask and get a better Osfa Pants. That should make up for my extra 25 Dex (Currently capped at 50 because it looks nice).
Step 1 : Realize you'll never find a level 80 skirt with good stats Step 2 : Cry Step 3 : Repeat step 2 As it is, its COMPLETELY skewed towards men thief equips. Just ask Kimmyboo; she tried for weeks and she got nothing out of it. It's a tough life. Plentys right, just go for the osfa pants, you'll save yourself SOO much hassle.
A female thief is screwed no matter what because none of the female pants drop from anything commonly farmed, unless lots of people buy leech at Squids. All one can do is pray good pants pop out of Kerning gach or someone trips over one somewhere if you don't want to hunt them yourself. On that note, I just blew up a 9/8 clean Osfa; please kill me.
You can ask my buddies and my guild mates how long I spent hunting at MDTs for skirts only to blow them up in one or two shots. I ended up with a 21 dex level 60 bottom for quite a while, was 7 dex clean since I just got lucky while training my bucc at FoG. Eventually I went back to hunting again and I got a nice clean red skirt from blue kents, which scrolled nicely too. Tops were even harder for me, though. Eventually ended up with a +7 top after a few months and countless blow ups. Was worth the wait though, to me.
I am the kimmyboo she speaks of. Blue kents suck and MDT sucks. Hate them both. Just get a good pair of osfa pants and call it a day. Ive never seen a pirate skirt better than 27 stats. And 27 stats is nothing to brag about. Oh, and use a sleeve
I currently have 70 base dex on Anko, with my equips I come out to 150 (not including MW's bonus). I'll check my equip stats when I get home so consider this a bookmark
