We're currently working on a lot of stuff at the moment, but we have received feedback that some, if not all of the PQs are bugged. After a discussion- we've decided to open threads for each of the PQs so that anyone who discovers a bug can let us know here. Please only write on the appropriate thread corresponding to the PQ whose bugs you are reporting. Just a note here: We've seperated it out because it would be too messy if we combined all into 1 atm. We will eventually merge the threads and update our progress with regards to fixing once no further bugs are found. The staff will update this periodically from time to time. You can't spawn back when you die. The summon monsters on room 5/6 spawn in the wrong place. (only one place) You can't tell which monsters are yours, and i'm pretty sure there is something wrong with the powers like speed up.
First, when you die, you can't get back into the game and have to quit. Next, when you summon monsters in rooms 5/6, the monsters only spawn on one platform. Lastly, you cannot tell which monsters are yours or the other teams' because they are not grayed out. EDIT: Also, when it changes your guild name display to your team name, it sets everyone's to "Maple Red" instead of "Maple Red" and "Maple Blue" (EDIT: now it just set 2 of our party to maple blue and the rest to maple red. I have no idea what's happening with that.) EDIT 2: Two more things: when you change channel, you have to completely reform your party in order to cpq, and if you don't, it won't let you in the actual pq. EDIT 3: There is no max limit on how many monsters you can summon. Also, party potions do not heal everyone in the party. EDIT 4: In GMS you had to have even parties (ex: 3v3 or 4v4), in this you can do 4v1, which people can abuse by using one character as a mule and getting free wins. EDIT 5: NPC to exit takes you back to henesys, not where you last were. It gets annoying having to travel all the way back to places like ludibrium. EDIT 6: When both parties go into the CPQ, but then want to exit, they get put into the CPQ anyway after 10 seconds.
Probably one of the most annoying, imo, is sometimes when the timer runs out in the CPQ match only some of the people will be warped out to get exp. The others have to relog and do not get exp. Really annoying. EDIT: When you die you lose experience, huge, at least for me..also, I think if anything, the portal back after you die should be a priority.
We are able to enter the PQ fine, but when we slay the monsters inside they do not drop items, making it difficult to continue. This bug applies to only one team and hinders completion of the CPQ
If you leave the party inside the pq, you can stay after the timer runs out (it seems to only kick the people the are in a party), and continue to summon for yourself forever. (if you summon partyless you can hit all the mobs summoned for both teams). I found this out because in gms, if you'd party with a thief/bowman during a tw party in rm 3/4 and he didn''t want to fight during a loss match, you could leave the party and make one real fast without it kicking you (so the leecher didn't get any of your experience). It doesn't seem to kick you even if you don't create a party real fast in royals.
This happened earlier today: My team had 300-ish points, other team had 150-ish points, and at the end of the PQ, we should have gotten a C grade, but we ended up getting a A for some odd reason
I personally think that the worst bug in cpq currently is the no respawn bug. If you die you lose exp which you're not originally supposed to, it doesn't bother me much. Getting the lost exp from death during that round also is impossible due to the no respawn glitch.
When your pet loots the pots dropped inside CPQ, they go straight to your inventory instead of being used immediately. When you despawn/spawn your pets inside CPQ, there is a good chance that you will get disconnected.
Wasn't aware about the pet loot issues, however the d/c when unequipping your pet can occur anywhere in the game. To avoid that, the only solution at the moment would be to unequip just the item pouch itself.
I don't know if you guys intend to keep some of these around but here are some issues i see that make CPQ hard to be competitive in. Big Issues: -Carnival Points drop way too much, I could be better than the other team damage wise and kill more mobs but if the other team focuses on picking up the carnival point drops, they can easily win games by doing so. This is a huge competitive issue in room 1/2 and 5/6 because... -The other team can pick up your drops... -Mob...uhh circulation? If the other team kills off mobs slower than your team does, your own spawn decreases to accommodate it... which is kinda dumb. This makes even trade wins hard to do so both trade wins and actual competition suffers imo. This applies to all maps(outside of cpq as well) so idk if you guys intend to keep it this way or not -There's no limit to spawning mobs, which is in a way a good thing for grinding i guess. -If you die, you're out for good LOL, bugged teleporter. <-known issue Smaller Issues: -Mobs all look the same, usually the opponent's mobs are supposed to be faded or something to indicate that they aren't yours. -Party heal potions don't seem to work, if i picked up a party elixir, other people don't get healed if i recall correctly from experience. Edit: I don't mean for this to be an aggressive post in any way, I realize it's ridiculously hard to have everything work as intended. So no worries, love the server!
Cpq Hi there Today i was Doing Cpq and i got some weird bug. We did a round with over 500 cp but only got a Rank D reward. The next round we went in and after 5 sec we got a free rank A win :S This happened 2 times in a row so i decided to stop and make this report Also reported to gm via ingame command.
