I decided to train my secondary account (which I made since I filled up on 3 characters on this main acct and my request to delete one of them never went thru).
I am a lvl 70 priest and decided to go to GS2. I finally managed to find a map of my own and began spamming heal to train. On my external monitor, me and my sister were watching Runningman (a korean tv show).

My sister, who's 8, said she was hungry.
Fearing I'd lose the GS2 map while I afk for 5 minutes, I asked my sister to spam shift (my hotkey for heal) while I made her food and she continued watching the show.

By the time I got back I was being accused of botting which I think is warranted. However, I was only gone for 5 minutes while I made my sister a sandwich. The kid who reported me, PicoB shud have noticed me channel surfing not 10 minutes before he reported me for botting.

I told the GM that I was not botting and told him everything I wrote here. He said I admitted to account sharing and said my ban would last 30 days.

I'm a law abiding player and I was aware of the T&C.
If upon reviewing my case you decide to keep me banned, I'll accept my fate.

But I don't know if asking my 8 year old sister, who has no idea how to play maplestory, to secure a map for me while I spent less than 5 minutes making her a sandwich counts as account sharing.

 

The account belongs to you and only you, not your sister or anybody else. What you did is no question account sharing so yes, you will be banned for 30 days.
