Pilgrim Hat Piece A Pilgrim Hat Piece B Pilgrim Hat Piece C Pilgrim Hat Piece D Procedures: Complete Pie Monster Hunting quest. Once you have collected all four pieces of the hat, talk to Mom and Dad and they will help you out. Rewards: Pilgrim Hat PIE MONSTER Level: Variable. HP: Variable. The Pie Monster takes over the statistics of the monster that would've normally spawned instead (For example in Forest of Golems they are 5000 HP but in ToT they are 90,000 HP) (Thank you @Dimitri) Drops: The 4 ingredients. Map: Any monster map in the game. Spawn: 1~3 per map (I found 3 at the same time in Forest of Golems and Wolf Spiders) Respawn: 5~20 minutes, but looks like it depends on how quick you kill the other monsters in the map? (Needs confirmation)
From what I've seen the Pie Monster takes over the statistics of the monster that would've normally spawned instead, in my case this is a Qualm Guardian with 90k hp.
these rings are not tradable within the account right? Are there any rings like that in royals actually?
Unless they change it nope, they are untradeable. But hey, at least they are permanent. Oh thank you, that's interesting.
So, wouldn't it make more sense to just run map to map and kill them rather than just sitting on one map? Assuming the spawn is a timer
I think you need to spend some time killing mobs in a map for Pie Monsters to start spawning. If you go to a map with a Pie Monster in it and you kill it and AFK, I don't think it'll respawn again until you start killing monsters for a while.
I recall receiving 150k exp on my Bishop, which is, coincidentally, lv150. Could the exp amount be variable, i.e. EXP Gained = Lv * 1000? Probably needs someone to confirm, didn't look at it just now when I did the quest for the second time!
Soo... If a character at the minimum lvl to take exp from say, blue slimes, parties with a lvl 200 and the lvl 200 kill a pie monster, would the low lvl get a portion of that 200k exp..?
No. The EXP formula we were talking about is only for the grandma quest. Whatever level you are when you handle the ingredients, multiply that x1000 and that's the exp you'll get. So if you're level 10, you'll get 10,000 exp. The Pie Monsters just replace a monster from that map and they spawn instead of it. If you're a level 200 in a Blue Snail map, when the Pie Monster spawns it'll take the stats from a Blue Snail, and it'll have the same HP, EXP, etc. So if Blue Snails give... idk, 12 EXP, the Pie Monster spawned in a Blue Snail map will give 12 EXP.
Yes, you can chaos it because it has 1 slot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but, for example if you're a high level warrior: 5 STR is somewhat equivalent to 1 attack. An average zhelm has 15~18 STR, so that'd be equivalent to 3~4 attack. If you chaos a pilgrim hat and get it to 4~6 attack it'll be worth it, because that plus the 10 STR that the pilgrim has it's going be 6~8 attack. And that is taking in consideration only STR, because DEX also adds to your damage range.
