First off I'm not against HP washing, but I've just wondered why it is made so easy compared to GMS where unless you have $$ it's near impossible to wash properly. This crossed my mind because since we're about nostalgia shouldn't washing be (for lack of a better word) harder, since we get free nx unlike GMS. Just my two cents other opinions welcome.
Not sure if I fully understood your statement, but here goes. That would make this private server pay2win, and AP Reset prices ridiculously high. The GMs already don't like the idea of getting money to donate. It's called donating for a reason; you don't get anything back when you give them money. Instead, you're showing gratitude. You care about the server and want it to stay up longer. Not to mention selling AP Resets as a low level is a good way to start making some mesos until level 50.
No my point was that it's too easy to get AP resets in general should raise price because wasn't this easy in GMS
Then gacha prices should be raised too since basically everyone is getting $8 of gacha a day, makes getting scrolls and equips way easier than it was on GMS...
I don't like where this is going. First of all, this is not global, this is royals. If they tried to make it be like global, there were no gms at fm and ~gm wouldn't exist.
The server is intended to be GMS-like, not GMS-identical. HP washing doesn't really do any damage to the server, besides letting people potentially do bosses like HT. That's the only thing it's required for, and HT is difficult enough in a server with as limited population as ours that there's no need to make it even worse. AP resets being where they are is good for the economy - it gives richer, high-level players something disposable to spend money on, it drives up the price of INT scrolls and equips giving people something to hunt for and something to gamble on, and it provides a method through which lower level players can get "on their feet" so to speak. I've probably bought AP resets a dozen times from someone just starting in the server, who needed money for potions or a 6 atk wg, and every time they were grateful, and I got something out of it too. As mentioned, besides HT (and I guess doing zak "early") there's no real need to HP wash. It really doesn't harm gameplay to do it. AP resets the way they are are good for the server, and there's no reason other than nostalgia to make them harder to get. I think this suggestion is made with good intentions, but it's pretty poorly thought out.
Since people who boss tend to HP wash it seems to take away the need for DKs whereas in GMS they were more needed for the HP boost. This seems to put DKs in a rough spot seeing as serk 30 is already impossible to get and the need for HB is lower.
To be quite honest, I think it's fine as is. You're only able to get three "free" AP resets a vote. As everyone already knows, a vote is every 24 hours. If you need an additional amount of AP resets before your 24 hours are up, you can buy them with mesos. I don't see how that's considered too easy. I think that's more than fair.
Assuming that the ease of washing is really a problem, how would you propose to make it more difficult while still being possible? What's the solution to this problem?
As one of the few people who actually does Zakum runs often, I can say that the number of times I've wanted to sell/give a helm to someone but haven't had HB is more than enough to warrant people still requiring them. In addition, HP Washing is something only a limited few players actually are able to do, since they have the funds. Me personally, while I have HP Washed, I still need HB for the following things: - Horntail - Zakum body touch - Black Crow - Bigfoot touch I can honestly say that I still feel there is a solid demand for Dark Knights on the server, from a player's perspective.
