Event Mapleroyals Christmas Event info

You trow snowballs at the giant snowman and when he dies you get a present, which you can turn in for a random reward.
You need the magic mitten and snowballs, you can find them in the Extra Frosty Snow zone and you should use basic attacks to kill him.
Last year had many fun rewards, and this year even better!

There were a problem or two with the first snowman like skills working and snowman dropping the presents instead of those who help out gets one in their inventory, I am sure these things will be fixed and will make it easier and more fun to join

 

Mess around on Bannedstory and you'll see every animation.

 

I'm fluent in Greek but this is like Chinese to me I don't understand a word of it!

How do you hit using the claw and the snowball? Not working when i press attack.

 

Where do these pigs spawn?

 

Make sure the snowballs are at the top of your use inventory, if they're after arrows or other stars you won't be able to attack.

 

Am I extremely unlucky, or the pigs don't drop anything? I've killed like 5 of them, yet nothing (unlike the Thanksgiving pies )

 

I'm not really a fan of the presents dropping. Even if you helped attack you can miss out cause others were quicker to loot. Is it possible to change it?
I really liked the way it was with the Lovestruck King Slime. (The attackers got a present in their inventory instead of having to loot it)
It would stop people from looting more than one present per character too.

Anyone else having lag/hang issues fighting the snowman? My application will either crash or the image (not the computer) just hangs.
Btw I'm using a Mac.

ps: will it be too much to ask for a secondary channel to fight the snowman? Think it's too over crowded on ch1 T.T

 

Having issues as well.

Last year there was lag, but I never dced or crashed. I could have 2 clients at the snowman and make it through. Now, even limiting to one client, my laptop has what I've figured out is called a "kernel panic" from the snowman, in which my laptop freezes and crashes, then restarts telling me it encountered a problem with a application it was running.

Not sure if this is a problem with my specific client or the event itself.

This could be a solution for the presents. If you participate enough in the killing you get a present in your inventory.

 

We're listening, and some changes are coming with this SC to try and alleviate some of the issues.

 

If I get one of the items from Maple Claws on one character, can I transfer them to another character with the storage keeper?

 

If the item is tradeable then yeah you can trade it however you want to. I believe all of them are tradeable

 

Can we hold two Noses in our inventories, or do we have to toss/blow up last year's to get a new one?

 

It doesn't say it's one of a kind so you should be able to hold more than 1 of them at a time.

 

Is there anything bad about getting the presents directly into our inventory instead of looting them? I honestly don't get why it's like that this year.
