Well the snowblower is looking real empty these days since people rarely contribute until the 80% announcement. I would guess that if the snow dropped a lot easier people would contribute a lot more even before the 80% announcement. So i just wanted to suggest a higher drop rate for the never melting snow since they drop even less that the maplemas stars now. A full hour at Wild boars only got me a 120 .
The snowblower shouldn't be constantly going off. I haven't been in game personally but from the frequency I've heard it has been going off, I think it is adequate.
Oh. I just started participating yesterday and the snowblower hasn't even gotten to 30% on ch 1 for the last 10 hours at least. Guess it's just a slow day then
In addition, I'm pretty sure a lot of people are just saving up snow right now until the next version of snowman is released since the current one is insta-dc for us right now.
The people who have already stocked up on items from it going off 3x an hour are gonna obv try to get the drop rate on it reduced. That said it is good as it is now .
They buffed the stars drop rate, but I don't think that's make up for the snow drop rate. it's again unbalanced as it was just switched between the two. i think it needs another re-balance between them. a bit less star, a bit more snow.
I don't really see too much of an issue right now because many people cannot participate in snowman anyway. If they fixed snowman so that people could join without dc or freeze, I would be all for a slight star nerf. As it is now, not enough people can participate to justify nerfing the star rate and raising the snow rate. The people who are able to join snowman are always the same people (mostly) while the stars are obtainable by everyone. This makes the event a lot more fair for everyone overall. I still find a lot of snow too, I think it's because people who can't join are holding onto theirs until they are sure they can participate without dc'ing or freezing because it is frustrating to donate and literally get nothing every single time.
THAT! I get frustrated trying the snowman after donating 5k and I freeze the screen and did not obtain anything.
agreed, stars are dropping like candies did during the halloween event. i thought a buff was needed but this is ridiculous, every gene it seems like 2-3 stars drop. snow drop rate is sad, it's like the stars before the buff. it would be nice if buff/nerfing wasn't so extreme
I also agree with this. Since I can't participate I've been hoarding my snow for when/if I'll be able to participate. I've got enough snow to fund a large chunk of a snowman by myself. I would bet that this is the case for a lot of players.
