I do pap every day and enjoy it because it drops NX . LEAF . SKILLBOOKS .....and other reasons I think 2 times every day is enough and wonderful because there are other ways to earn money. Doing pap should be a challenge or for fun , not to earn $$ , isnt 'it ? BTW,the official server is like this server (twice a day), and every players still enjoy it . so do I
I think the exp/drops from pap are not really worth killing him. At around level 140 he gave me about 7-8% exp per solo and can take around 18 mintues, while at krexel a trio can give you more than 50% in around 50 minutes or so. At lvl 120 a solo would have gave me around 25% but it was far more difficult (especially if you can't tank the 2nd body) and can take much longer. I've also killed him many times and he never dropped a valuable book before (except brandish 30 which I sold for 10m) or any leafs. His best reward is actually the 30 fame you get from finishing all the prequests and killing him for the first time.
My level is now 150 and I solo pap 10~12 minutes per round. I also do Krex trio for 1 hour per round. I think the exp pap gives is worth killing. Maybe your damage is relative low so that you can't feel worthwhile. BTW, I do pap everyday , and I have got Brandish 30 (sold for 20m) , Angel ray (sold for 50m), Piercing Arrow (sold for about 10 ~ 20m), "The Quantity of these books is not only one" and sometimes mapleleaf. If you collect it's equipments and elixirs , power elixirs , it also helps you earn money !
So I don't remember Papulatus dropping Energizer drinks in gms or other servers, so I don't think hes the original pap we remember. So if this is a added drop like nx coupons consider adding a higher drop rate for equips for npc value or rare random equips that aren't OP.
I try to do Pap every time I log in. The recent addition of a daily limit didn't really affect me since I only use my free daily Crack, but not being able to grind it anymore is a bit sad. The EXP gains are far from insignificant, especially at lower levels (120-140). As for meso making, well, there isn't much to be made. If you sell all the consumable you can make a few mil each run, and some of the books can sell for 5-10m if you're patient. The energisers and NX are the main reason I try to do it every day. If it gets new, boss specific drops then that's just a bonus in my eyes. (but please don't fix its bombs, my corsair will die.)
