the problem is i have being trying many times. Followed all steps given by forum but still the same problem. Do u know how to solve it?
Yes, I have restarted my com, firewall offed , and downloading it again. Repeated this steps many times but still the message pops out.
Are you editing your wine settings or doing anything besides downloading the ZIP, extracting the .app file inside, and running Royals? The MAC client is designed to run right from being unzipped. If you start touching or editing settings, you can quickly break the client.
No, i did not edit any wine settings or what. i just open straight after downloading and unzipping it and the thing pops up when i open maple. I tried other methods i saw on forum all does not work.
EDIT- My apologies, forgot we are dealing with a Mac here. If you are using a mac, follow solution 3... From my experience, there are three possible solutions for this issue. Solution 1: One of the most popular solutions: set compatibility settings to Windows XP Service Pack 2. To do so, perform the following: right-click your MapleRoyals icon>click Properties>click the Compatibility tab>check mark the Run this program in compatibility mode option>from the drop down menu select Windows XP Service Pack 2>click Ok (You must be an admin on your computer). Solution 2: Download the appropriate C++ redistributable package for your computer. Before doing so, please check whether your computer is a x64 bit or x32 bit system. To check this, perform the following: click Start>right-click My Computer>click Properties>look for System Type. You will see either x64 or x32 - that is your system type, and keep that in mind for the next step. All you have to do now is download the appropriate C++ distrubutable package. Click here to download the x32 bit package, and click here to download the x64 bit package. After downloading and installing, restart your computer and the issue should not happen again. If it does, please update me; I personally believe this is the reason people receive the run-time error, but I am not 100% sure..more like 75% leloroni. Solution 3: Clean re-installation. Do the following: Completely uninstall MapleRoyals>restart your computer>re-install MapleRoyals I'm sure the issue will be resolved through at least one of these solutions. For those of you who are also having this problem, please feel free to tag me or get in contact with me if you need any assistance or are confused! Let us know how it goes. Thanks
I have seen your error before and those times it has been a DNS error. If you would like you can try and do a DNS flush and hopefully it might help. http://www.wikihow.com/Flush-DNS
That sucks, maybe try this. Restarting your modem You could try changing DNS server, https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using
Done that but still doesn't work. I updated my os to el captain and now it can't even open at all. it says it doesn't allow as it is by an unknown developer.
That is no big issue! You must simply change the security settings. To do so, go to this link and follow the instructions for where it says 'Change Gatekeeper Settings'
@PaperMoneyxD I realized that the error message you posted says "C:\Nexon\Maplestory" Is your MapleRoyals folder located there? If it is, I suggest moving it to a different location. Also, did you reinstall? Perhaps you could try uninstalling both MapleRoyals AND Global MS, then re-installing just MapleRoyals. Try that.
Yeah done it. Same thing happened. Runtime error. Used wineskin to open same message popout. Another thing i did was deleted and restarted my com and installed it again. Dragged it to my desktop. Still the same message pop out...
Hi, hope this helps.. Try delete all the maplestory folders, empty all your thrash box. Re download the mac client, Update your Wineskin after that restart and then try it.. Thats what i did cos i had the same problem when i started too. It works for me, and been happily mapling till now.. Cheers Buddy
