Hello all! We have had to temporarily disable the use of White Scrolls due to some serious bugs. If you try to scroll an item while you have a White Scroll in your inventory, you will get the message: "White Scrolls are temporarily disabled, please put them in storage to scroll normally." If you try to scroll using Legendary Spirit while you have a White Scroll in your inventory, you will be unable to close the Legendary Spirit skill screen afterwards. To fix this, go into the Cash Shop or CC and the Legendary Spirit skill screen will disappear. White Scrolls will be available as normal from Gachapon, but you won't be able to use them until the bugs have been fixed. We apologise for the inconvenience, but I'm sure you'd all prefer that we didn't let potentially game-breaking bugs ruin the economy. Katsuruka, MapleRoyals Team
@Jen @Manny - this is a pretty major thing and might be very confusing for those who speak very little English. Would the two of you mind translating the annoucement into Chinese and Spanish, respectively, please? If any other members of staff are able to translate it into other languages where we're likely to have players that speak very little English, that would be appreciated.
I mean earlier? But since you're aware of the bug, do us a favour, please. We're trying to establish the date on which it started, because we haven't always had it. If you recall when you first noticed it, would be helpful. We've got a very vague idea right now, can only narrow it down to a certain timeframe.
I am sorry to tell you that I have never tried it on this server. I thought everyone was aware of this ._.
This glitch has happened to me before, but I blew it off because I just changed channels and white scrolling worked fine. This happened when I was scrolling a Bathrobe in FM7 or FM8 in channel 10 or so.
Is this with any number of slots remaining? There's a similar bug when trying to scroll a zero-slot item with legendary spirit (live server bug report, new source bug report), which might be what @Celiu was talking about.
Yeah, it's with any number of slots remaining, and no, this isn't the bug that we're urgently trying to fix - that's just an annoying bug rather than game-breaking. Being unable to close the Legendary Spirit skill screen after getting the message that you need to storage your White Scroll(s) is just a temporary issue that arises from us disabling the use of White Scrolls, and it will be back to normal once the issue with White Scrolls has been fixed and they've been re-enabled. Good advice about bugs/glitches in general (and this applies to everyone): if it's a non-exploitable bug and hasn't previously been reported, please make a bug report about it, so we can fix it. If it's an exploitable bug, please report it directly to a member of staff via forum PM, Skype PM or ~gm rather than posting it on the forums.
Sorry, the most information you're going to get from me is that the coding threw a hissy fit when a white scroll was used. If Matt or John wish to disclose the bug that resulted from this hissy fit, then fair enough, but as 3rd in command, I don't feel it's my place to reveal this information. What I will say, however, is that we would not have temporarily disabled White Scrolls if the issue wasn't serious, and that we aim to get the issue fixed as soon as possible.
Update: It's looking hopeful that we'll be able to bring White Scrolls back next server check - thanks @Karven <3

Just to verify, these are still disabled? Players seem to be buying and selling them normally, so I'm just double checking.
