MapleRoyals is broken.

When someone gets to the point of having 72 white scrolls, then there is no difference from the MR before the wipe and the MR now. The game is as broken. How long until we wipe again because people can now make end game equips and weapons?

 

Damn it's only been a few months since wipe 0.o

 

Um, Brian is one of the hardest workers in royals, if not the hardest.
1) He has a full INT level 15x Night Lord
2) 17x Bishop
3) He has no equips besides those white scrolls

He has been farming like everyday for 3 months, i'm pretty sure the white scrolls are well deserved. & Saki you need to really stop bringing up the wipe, it is finished already. The point of the wipe was to make the game harder.



It has been about 3-4 months since the wipe.
Pre-wipe, it took me 2 months to get level 200, do you see any level 200s? No.
It also took the people a few weeks to get perfected gear, not 3 months of farming.

 

It's only one person, Saki - pre-wipe, large amounts of white scrolls would have been a lot more common.

First off Ty, this is the first time I am bringing up the wipe. I have commented on the wipe on already existing threads but I my self never brought it up before.

Second, I never said or hinted anything about how he obtained the white scrolls. My post is not about Updawg, I do not know him thus it is not in my right to have and even less to express an opinion. It is nice to see you as a friend and leader jumping in and defend him m8, but there is no need.

What I wanted was to bring up a valid in my opinion question. I was looking through his screen shots and thought "Wow! Are we risking a near future wipe because people are now being able to scroll end game equipment/weapons?" So I made a thread about it because I felt it would be in the community's interest. If I am wrong and nobody cares then we can move on with our lives.

 

If we were to wipe again in the future, I will undoubtedly quit for sure. While I understand your concern Saki, I don't think we need to worry unless there are far more people with that many white scrolls that we don't know about.

 

Saki, in all honesty, I don't think you need to worry about a future wipe at this point in time. This is just one person who's been working really hard and putting just about all of his money into white scrolls.

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that you, like me, would be very sad if the wipe had achieved very little - both of us and MANY others lost a lot that we'd worked hard on when the server was wiped, and also some of our pre-wipe friends pretty much quit. However, I really do think that the server changes worked well. We're no longer afloat in stupidly cheap PACs and BWGs; it's a lot harder to get well-scrolled equips and to get hold of certain items; there aren't lots of threads on the forum with people complaining that they've done all that v62 has to offer and are now bored; as Ty says, nobody's lvl 200 yet; and we haven't had - or needed - any major gacha revamps yet.

 

This is not a major issue at all. Updawg has been farming for the past three months just to get these white scrolls. This isn't like pre-wipe where a Vergil would farm all day and night, loot gachapon tickets/NX and flood the free market with white scrolls within a matter of days not months. I'd also like to point out I just used Vergil as an example other people did this as well. Since I have talked to Brian(Updawg) before he doesn't plan on selling his white scrolls at all. Also the gachapon rate for white scrolls is extremely low compared to what it was before.

 

Hehe, that's certainly true for me - I've had all of one white scroll out of gacha and I've been voting every day since the wipe and not spending my nx on much else besides gacha.

 

May I ask why is having an end game item bad? You make it out to be like no one is supposed to be able to scroll a perfect end game weapon for themself.

 

Pre-wipe most of the high leveled people had end game weapons and it was extremely easy for new players to get end game weapons.

 

Well it's not easy here, so what's the problem? Oh right, there isn't one.

 

Ok your argument is totally valid and all but why did you lie about this part? You joined in May and didn't hit 200 till either September or October.

 

From when I made Sadist to when I hit 200 took me 2 months.
You can argue that I was partially funded, but Vergil still did it.

 

I see no point in leaving this thread open. Updawg has put a lot of effort in getting these scrolls, which basically reflects on why MapleRoyals isn't broken (anymore).

It's not even remotely easy to get this amount of scrolls, let alone a perfected weapon (which we had A LOT pre-wipe), because we have maybe 1 or 2 right now. That's not an awful lot for a server that's been around for 3 months, I don't think.
