    So, hi! I know there are a whole bunch of guides out there but wow they are long and rather confusing but I've been explained how the gist of it works a while back so I'm good in that regard.

    I've stopped playing for a long while (it's been about 9 months), but I had an HP Washing plan all set up on my Ranger. I've got a total of 106 INT (4 base + 102 from INT gear) at level 72. Unfortunately, I've pretty much forgotten what I was going for in terms of how much money and INT I'd need.

    Now, I was planning on going for the 9k HP without HB goal, but I am fully aware that I would need to add to base INT (I only now realized this, which is why I still have 4 base INT) and am going to need a LOT of NX/mesos for all the resets. And from what I gather, I would need a certain amount of INT by level 100, but I got that info from a NL-specific HP washing guide so I'm not sure how relevant this info would be for an archer. I also plan on using the - MP + HP method of adding to HP.

    So, here's my question;

    As an archer, how much INT total will I need in order to reach the 9k HP goal? By what level I'd reach this is not really all that relevant because I expect it'll be well beyond level 150. I'm going to assume that I'm not too late if I start adding to base INT now.

    If you give me your current HP and MP, I can calculate all this for you rather quickly.

    Pff I overlooked some things, I neglected to include my face acc and ring for extra INT.

    Anyway, here you go!

    You could double-wash. A bit more expensive but it'd get you towards the goal faster.

    What exactly is double-washing? I don't think I've heard of that sort of terminology before.

    Basically, you have base Int and you use your level up AP into MP and you get additional MP based on your base Int which creates a surplus of MP where you can take out and put into HP because MP and HP share the same AP pool like Str/Dex/Int/Luk does.

    I'm still looking for help in this thread if anyone can answer this!

    Double-washing sounds pretty plausible at this point but I'd like to make sure that I really need to do that.

    I'm assuming you'd want me to remove the 200HP and 210MP from your total.

    Lvl 72:
    2423HP
    1901MP
    MinMP: 1156
    745 Washable MP atm
    Will gain another 325+83, naturally by lvl 155.
    1153 Washable MP by lvl 155.
    +830 from INT =
    1983 Washable MP by lvl 155.

    You will need 3015 Washable MP at lvl 155.
    3015-1983=

    1032MP to gain.

    This just means you'll have to slap on like another 100 Raw INT.

    Will gain another 45MP on top, naturally.
    another 450MP from INT.
    1032-495=537MP to gain.
    That's 40-50 INT to reach your goal by lvl 200.

    ALLL THAT SAID:
    Your Optimal INT lands you at 100 Raw INT. And Optimal INT is god. You just gotta trust me on that. This fucking equation right here...

    OptimalINT = 10*SqRt(MpNeeded/11)

    You add 100 Raw INT, and you'll have to wash about 30 times. to hit your goal by 155. ~130 is the least amount of extra resets you'd have to spend to hit your goal by 155. You start extending that goal, and you can get away with 80 INT without MP washing, 70 INT, down to 50 INT by lvl 200, etc. etc.

    All make sense?

    That does make sense! The extra HP/MP is from stuff like my face acc/ring which also add to my INT so that subtraction was necessary.

    Thank you, that's actually better than what I was expecting if I were to not MP wash! I'd expected a lot more resets to be needed.

    So if I'm understanding correctly, I can add to INT until level 92 (+96 base INT being 20 levels) and from there I should be set to hit my goal by 155, provided I don't miss any level-ups with my INT gear?

    Yes, and the cool thing about MP Washing is that it's very forgiving. If you miss level-ups with your INT gear, or fail to reach 100 INT, all that means is that you'll have to MP Wash a few more times, which could just mean MP Washing for like 2 more levels than you would think. Every mistake you make ends up costing you more in the end, but since you can MP Wash 5 times a level, making a mistake won't cost you many levels. (As opposed to equipping INT, where if you accidentally miss a couple levels, you could potentially end up having to overlevel for every level you miss.)
