Ah ok. I guess, the issue here is still that, by doing the abovementioned steps for MP washing, I don't seem to be amassing a larger pool of MP, but instead diminishing it by using up an AP reset, which doesn't seem to make sense.
Even just to get 900 more HP within the remaining 25 levels? Why is everything contradicting now halp
Crap >.< this whole time, i was mathing as if you were a thief. Forgot you were a Sair. So so so sorry >.< Pirates gain 5 less MP then they gain with MP Washing, meaning they'll need 50 INT just to get +0 from MP Washing. And since you need more MP on a pirate, you are going to need a good deal of base INT >.< after doing the math, your Optimal INT will be like 90-100 INT. But i havent done all the math yet. MP Washing sucks for pirates. Im sorry. Im busy atm. Ill get all the specifics for you, later
idk how much BASE INT you have right now but from your previous posts, im going to assume you have 30 BASE INT. this means for every 1 point you put into MP, you get 3 extra MP? so times that by 5 and you get 15 MP per level from lvling. I'm assuming a pirate would get around 20 MP per level and since thats added to the 3 extra MP, you're looking at 15 + (20*5) so about 115 MP per level. pirates lose 16 MP for every point you take out so you're only gaining 35 MP roughly per level. pirates need 18 MP per wash so thats about 2 washes? i guess you would get about 900 HP by lvl 200.. i re-read the whole thread and i wasnt aware you were trying to reach your goal by 200. i was assuming you would want to reach your HP goal sooner than that also note i'm estimating from the numbers i remember from washing 007Doodoo, which was a long time ago. I remember having enough MP to wash to 12K HP but I had 250 base INT. just wait for Gossamer to give you the specific numbers i guess, but according to my estimate, you might just miss 900 extra HP or just barely make it at lvl 200 assuming your current base INT is 30

Your minimum MaxMP Value at lvl 175 is 3261MP. And you HP washed until you couldn't HP wash anymore, correct? The Minimum MaxMP Formulas don't seem to be entirely accurate, although close, so I'll trust you data before the Minimum MaxMP Formulas from Pheelo's Guide. So, assuming you have hit you Minimum MaxMP... Hit 9k HP by level 200: You need 864 more HP. You will naturally gain 25 HP per level. That's another 625 HP. That leaves you with 239 HP to gain. Thus, you will need to accumulate an Extra 192 MaxMP. You will gain 2.5 Natural Washable MP per level, on average. That'll be 62MP, leaving you with 130MP to gain. Your 180 INT will give you 18MP per LevelUp, which leaves you with another 450 Washable MP. Therefore, you will have an excess of MP to wash. In fact, you will hit 9k HP around level 190-195, by just leveling with your current INT Equips, and not MP Washing at all. Level ~193 Cost: 74 Resets (HP Washing: 44 Resets) (Reset Raw INT to 4: 30 Resets) Hit 9k HP as early as possible: Reset 100 DEX into 100 More Raw INT Need 764HP Need 612MP 112 MP gained in 4 levels from INT. Need 500 MP from MP Washing. Each MP Wash = 13MP 39 MP Washes. = 8 levels. Deduct another 4 levels of HP Gain and MP Gain = -100 HP (80 MP) and -122MP 500MP-202MP = 298MP Needs 298MP from Washing 23 MP Washes = 5 levels. This is becoming way to confusing... You'll hit your goal at around 6 levels of MP Washing, I would assume... Costing you about 30 Washes. Level: ~181 Cost: 304 Resets (Convert DEX into INT: 100 Resets) (HP Washing: 44 Resets) (MP Washing: 30 Resets) (Reset INT back to 4: 130 Resets.) Hopefully, that all makes sense....... I just learned that my Optimal INT Formula aught to be affected by HP Gain, Levels need to MP Wash, MP Gain, INT Equip MP Gain........ idk.... it really shouldn't? But it is? It's really messing with me, and I'm going to need to delve back into it. I'm ASSUMING 130 INT is what you want to hit if you want to be MP washing, and use the least amount of resets, but I'm definitely not sure anymore. I would advise taking the first route, NOT MP washing, and just hitting 9k HP at like level 193. Adding more INT will get you there sooner. And MP Washing will get you there even sooner. But even 130 Raw INT only gets you 8MP per MP wash, so it's pretty rough, and costly. You could also add INT as you level, and cut down on the cost of AP Resets. But that stalls your MP Washing process. Let me know if you have any questions. You probably do, since this is all rather confusing. Many variables are affecting this scenario, and many variables are affecting other variables that affect them O.O But hopefully, by recording my scratch work up above, you can make sense of what is going on.
Hi all, am back 5 years later with a follow-up question for corsair HP washing! (updated the 1st post with this as well) With the surprise appearance of Pink Bean today a couple of days ago, I figured I'll want to try to wash my corsair to the minimum HP to be able to do it if it's released. @Shiyui's HP calculator looks like the perfect tool for this but I understand it's on lockdown now a couple of questions here: 1. I'm guessing the HP goal for corsair to safely boss Pink Bean with Hyper Body is 11.5k based on @Shiyui's guide? 2. My stats are as such, could I ask if anyone could help me out with calculations and lay out the subsequent steps to achieve the HP goal? Job: Corsair Level: 181 Current HP: 9,339 (9,108 disregarding equips) Current MP: 3,576 (3,366 disregarding equips) Current Base Int: 38 Int Gear Total Int: 153 HP Goal: 11,500 Level for HP Goal: 200 Thank you in advance for all your patience and help!
u can make a copy of it for ur own personal use also, i would probably include whether or not hp quest for the extra hp + where the hp from ur eqps come from for i believe belt/cape/earring/pendant/face/medal/oa

Edit: So I've given the calculator a go and have a few questions: I used the lower base HP and MP without Equips just for a safer estimate; I'm also quite sure this will change when I put on my Int equips. I've also added the 500 HP from the Spring of Youth questline as I've not done it yet. Basically I want to check if I've keyed in everything correctly: - Considering that I'm starting these calculations from my current level of 181, do I key in 181 or an earlier level for "Level to include Maple Warrior"? - Do I key in 182 for "Level to start MP washing" since that requires at least a level up? Or do I key in 200 if I just intend to do everything at my final level? This doesn't seem to change the calculations at all. - Do I key in 181 for "Level to include Maple Warrior" since I currently have MW20? - My calculations above show that I'm unable to reach my goal right now. If I'm going to use AP resets right now at level 181 to increase my base Int, should I change the values on both "Current base Int" and "Target base Int", until my "Total MP after HP washing" is higher than 3,711 (a corsair's min MP at level 200)? Please feel free to correct any mistakes I've made in using and understanding the calculator, thank you so much!

After catching up a bit more on the past few years of server developments, I figured there are more ways of reaching the desired 11,500 HP. - 500 HP from Spring of Youth questline - 300 HP from Dojo Black Belt - 300 HP from Master Collector medal (500 HP compared to 200 HP from Master Adventurer) *the belt and medal would be long-term goals of course Do let me know if I missed out any other way to get additional HP as an end-game character! i mean... theres no harm putting it lower is there just to make sure n uh u can prolly look at ur current eqps for any +hp stuff like the 2 carat ring, maybe ur cape if its bfc or mon too if ur hat is a scar hat it adds a teeny tiny bit of hp too so tats like 1 less wash to do

Ok I've revised calculations to account for the following: - Adding 100 HP from Blackfist Cloak (with some buffer in case Chaosing it gets HP dropped) - Adding 300 HP from Mark of Naricain (I already have the 2 Carat ring) That now puts my calculations at: Job: Corsair Level: 181 Current HP: 9,108 (no equips put on) + 500 + 300 + 300 + 300 + 100 = 10,608 Current MP: 3,366 (no equips put on) Current Base Int: 38 Int Gear Total Int: 162 HP Goal: 11,500 Level for HP Goal: 200 Great news - I can even go as low as 8 base Int and still hit my target! I'd probably continue with my existing 38 base Int just for a buffer MP pool. Thank you all!
