How to Horntail without graphical glitches closing your client

i done everything with ur tip, but when i open mapleroyals, it comes the white screen but the sounds do play.
can u help me about that?

Hello, i'm going to annoy this post f3, Jk, i'm getting the white screen (as most of ppl has already describe)
I've run Setup.exe, also reinstalling tools

I can hear the "taaaaaataratataaaaaaaaaaataratataaaaaaaaaaaaaataratataaaaaaaaaaa tarara taaaaaaaaaaaaa" from the login f3 But i can't see anything, please help me on this, i'm pretty sure i'm close to finally do it after having 90% of the errors that can possible been

Change compatibility mode into windows 98/me
right click on mapleroyals.exe > properties > compatibility.

Hey there, when I try to run royals inside vmware I keep getting the Failing to find proper screen for Gr2D error. How could I go about fixing this?
I'm using Windows 10 :S

 

Already tried to install the tools? if already you did, then reinstall it
This worked for me (for Failing to find proper screen for Gr2D)
I still can't play it on there because i'm still getting white screen

 

You probably missing VMware Tools installation. it should pop somewhere around the VMware window if I remember correctly C:

Thanks guys, you're right I forgot the Tools installation.
It's still coming up with Gr2D now though :S

 

Run MapleRoyals as admin and in windows98 and it should be solved,
if you still get the issuse, change your desktop resulotion to one fits maplestory like 600x800 as Tim metioned.

 

I have the compatibility set to 98/me and the desktop resolution set like that, but when I ran it as admin, i got a new error saying i'm missing the wzmss.dll file
Even though I can see a file named wzmss.dll inside the mapleroyals folder

 

try re-downloading the whole installation from website ( links was updated with new client so you don't have to be worried about that ) and try again, that's only thing I have in mind, probably one of the files was not installed/downloaded as it should've be and that's why you get thi error? iono. try it

 

what happens if i disable my graphics card? can i just disable it when i go to zak and enable it afterwards? i'm using windows 10 and using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570. i tried to get a zhelm today for the first time and got dced right when the person told us to gfx

 

I'm having troubles with my VM i can run the game but the screen is all white like Tim said it would, then again i followed the instructions and checked the compatibility set to 98/me, and still getting white screened.

Is there anything else i can do?

Yea, well i found out i had to be patient and let windows xp download some updates, it now runs well.
It isn't specified on the OP so me like others thought it would be insta working, but for vmware to run properly you need to just update windows xp.

 

I'm having an issue with the client itself, Gr2D error, failing to find proper screen error when I start royals up. I've tried using the setup, and it failed, (I have directX 11) And i've tried all sorts of combpatibility modes to try to get it working, all of my drives are up to date as well. What can I do? I'm running an HP notebook/Laptop. I know this doesn't relate to this forum, but I figured it would take a long time to get an admin to reply to my own forum.

 

You get this error while running VMWare? If yes, then fix your bmware screen config to 600x800. that solved my Gr2D error.
