How to Stretch Windowed Mode to a Larger Resolution

Windowed mode is horribly small on a standard 1080 screen, don't want to full screen cuz I like to multitask easily. If you are the same here is your answer.
Doesn't mess with the game at all, just stretches a selected window to a chosen resolution.

1. Download Window Resizer

2.Launch Royals Client
3. Run WinResizer ( You might need to run it as admin)
4.Locate and highlight the MapleRoyals window within WinResizer.


5. Click 1024x768 or type your desired res in the boxes at the bottom and hit enter. (stick to 4by3 aspect ratio for it to not look goofy)

6. Click M to center it

Works on some other games also.

 

Amazing guide. It's just what i need but when i stretched into larger resolution. The graphic of the game messed up.

 

Thanks and the farther you stretch it, the lower quality it will look. Also if you stretch it to a larger res that isn't 4to3 it wont look right, so keep that in mind if you are choosing a custom res to stretch it to.

 

unfortunately this isn't doing anything for me, the size of the window for mapleroyals doesnt change at all. other windows change however

 

Uh can you tell me what resolution you're using to stretch?

 

I normally do 1280x960

 

Maybe try running both royals and winresizer as admin. If that doesn't work I'm not sure. Seems to work ok on both my win10 and win7 systems.

 

Is there any way to save your settings or do you have to run winreziser every time you want to expand the window?

Other than that thanks for the guide! Kinda annoying to run standard resolution window at 1440p.

OKAY GUYS, I have found the perfect and ideal solution. In either of these links, there is a programme that, once run, will allow you to resize any windows with your cursor, just like you would do with any other window. I've tested it out and it works a 100%, can't think of any other solution more ideal than this. Also it allows you to drag the game around your screen unlike other solutions. (Yes, even onto your secondary monitor).

Yeah couldn't even find an alternative way to download.

 

Just downloaded and tried this.
I got a 3440x1440 monitor and I tried some different settings. The "fill left" feature doesnt make the in-game quality drop that low, so using that for now. It's better than playing on a screen 1/8th the size of your monitor.
