I have a bowman level 36. Right now it is strless and using a maple bow I'd like to know if someone can tell me what should I do next, should I stay strless(all stats except dex are at 4) or start adding to str at some point, and if yes, when Hope for some replies soon
i would add base str for a nisrock when you hit 100+/120. i would try to plan your base so you have enough with your equips(or future equips) for the nisrock. I would add your base str right before you hit 100/120. for example if a nisrock is 120 str, and you want it at level 100, and you have 30 str equips, and therefore need 90 str. I would spend 83-100 adding in strength. and if you get more strength equips in the future (or maple warrior) then aim for a dragon shiner bow, or reset your str down.
Then like I thought, there is no need for me to add str during these levels. I guess I should use the maple bows for now including the 64 one and then maybe add some str to use the Nisrock I would try and get a Zhelm for the 15 str boost it gives but it doesnt seem like an easy item to get on this server I have been planning to stay strless forever because the 64 maple bow also has Fast attack speed and Nisrock has Normal. Not sure how much that matters at higher levels though
i'm pretty sure in the long run a good nisrock > maple bow, especially since hurricane doesnt take into account attack speed. & classic are currently selling zakum helms, it's just been pretty hard to organise recently with all the events and bugs.
Define good, I have seen a dark nisrock in FM today with 110 attack, I'd assume thats good maybe. Good to know that attack speed does not really matter when it comes to Hurricane though. I would buy that nisrock that I saw but spent my money scrolling a bwg today though What a coincidence I am actually in Classic guild, hopefully they would help me get a ZHelm sometime. I'd probably be able to pay for it, but there's this tradition that if you are a member of a guild, they tend to help you with things like ZHelm for free. Not sure if thats how things work in Classic though
zakum runs cost quite alot of money (people use alot of narcs) and classic is a big guild, so it will be hard to get one for free unless you are a really high level and actually doing dps. There are costs on the guild bbs page.
Thats alright, hopefully I would have enough money to pay for one when I truly need it at some point. Right now I remain strless and the additional 15 dex and defense from a zhelm doesnt really matter at these low levels
i checked it once in other pserver and i saw low and even regular bowman is better then strless in higher lvles,with the lv 110 bow
I realize that. No point in being a regular bowman for me now though if I can use maple weapons. I'd start adding str at about level 80
