IDEA: Add all hairs that are currently in Maplestory GMS as of v145.2.2a As I know this is a HUGE request for the staff, i'm sure that everyone who plays would love this addition to the game. He mentioned that the NPC is not up at the moment, i'm assuming they will be free when the NPC is implemented.
I think right now, you have to be a donor to get the hairs, but when the NPC is in the game, anyone can receive it.
It was never stated that the hairs would be available to non-donors. The server needs things to encourage donations since I've paid out over $1000 myself and I wouldn't mind if that stopped happening - or maybe even get some of my money back. If people want the hairs, they will donate, and will be helping out the server at the same time. In most countries, people over the age of 11 can obtain a debit card, so most people if not everyone will have the ability to donate if their funds allow so. Even then, the donation amount required is pretty small, should not take anyone long to save up enough money to donate.
It was a typo. It happens. Diana, you and I have had chats before about the donor NPC. I straight up told you how new NX/ hairstyles will be available only through a donor NPC. EDIT: I honestly don't see why anyone would have a problem with this...it's the most fair solution to our donation problems
I don't think it was a typo at all. I talked to kenny in-game and he told me that the hairstyles and faces will be free.
I don't want to call you a liar, but I don't think Kenny would have said that. If he did there was some sort of misunderstanding. There was never a time where we thought we were going to give you guys new hair and faces for free. Either way, it doesn't matter now. You will need to donate in order to obtain new hair and faces
Kenny may have been under the impression that you would need to be set as a donor in the database to access the NPC which would then sell you the hairs/faces for mesos. However in actual fact you will be given points in the database to spend rather than mesos. And what Daniel said.
There's a lot of ways that you can look at it. It's not like I'm not in the position to call you a liar, I can, since I gave you a proof and you called it a typo, but thats not what important here. Don't say that "It was never stated that the hairs would be available to non-donors." if it was.
