I do have windows firewall and defender disabled as well. I don't have any other antivirus installed. Please help me with this issue, don't want to keep playing through vmware
That would be caused by your antivirus. Disable your antivirus download the client or reinstall using the setup. If you after that still want your antivirus active you will need to make an exception for the mapleroyals folder in your antivirus to stop it from deleting the client.
Obviously you do have a program blocking you. It's not possible for your computer to remove or alter a program without a program doing so.
Well that's weird because I just double checked, nothing is turned on, and the client doesn't get deleted it just shows that message when I try to run it. I don't understand why this is happening since I never had a problem before =/ atm running it on vmware works fine but gets very laggy on the event map.
The client was changed from being packed to unpacked which has made some new antivirus programs to see it as a virus. If you haven't installed any third party antivirus programs I am positive it is Windows Defender that causes the problem, what windows version are you using? Have you tried simply reinstalling the game if you have the same problem?
If you still receive that error simply google for some solutions to disabling windows defender and try those.
I've managed to fix the problem by going into the windows defender's quarantine section. Although it was turned off, it still blocked off the trojan from the client which led it to not working. Thanks for the help.
