Not Bug Zombie's Golden Tooth droprate

It is absurdly low. I get 5 of the same equips before i get one tooth, 300 zombie dry spells ect. GMS drop rate was at least triple what it is here. As a Hermit, the punishing flyeye spawn only makes things worse. got 7 teeth in 2 hours

 

For what it's worth, my 2 Cents:

I'm with those who find the droprate annoyingly low. Yes, sure, it makes them valuable to sell, but from my point of view, I'd rather have a GMS-like drop-rate, and I can think of better things to farm and sell.

 

I'd disagree matt. There are plenty of items that should and can be kept rare to stimulate the economy. But for people like me who plan on feeding 30 teeth to adobis and not selling or buying, the farming process is just plain frustrating and hardly rewarding.

I would also like to add that if they were more common, more people would actually consider farming them and selling them in the fm; As things are now, they are too precious to sell at a reasonable price. ( proof: no teeth in the fm)

In my personal opinion, the drop rate is seemingly low. Took me just over three hours today to farm all 30 teeth.

Even then, I have zero intention of selling them to other players because of how much time and patience you spend on grabbing all 30 teeth. It doesn't even feel worth it selling them to other players because you receive 5 Eye of Fire after you hand in the three prequests anyways.

If we made it just a little bit more of a common drop, then we might be able to see this item pop up more frequently in the FM (then again, not EVERY item has to appear in the FM).

 

Maybe their drop rate should be on-par with Lucky Charms or Soiled Rags. Both of those have pretty rare drop chances, but are still sold pretty often in the FM and for a decent amount of money.
Last time I farmed for the teeth, it took me around 2-3 hours. It got me quite a few Orbis ETC drops, too, so I can't complain. I enjoyed the farming just because of the ETC drops.

 

Calling the possibility of acquiring a zakum helmet unrewarding?

IMO The Droprate of Golden Teeth could be raised, because, as stated by someone else, most people really just use them to turn in at Adobis, and not to sell them to others. There are atleast a hundred items more in game that are MUCH more rewarding to farm and resell than Golden Teeth.

 

The actual reason it is not rewarding has nothing to do with zhelm. zhelm is the reward for killing zak (rewarding). farming teeth is not rewarding because for ex-GMS players, after finally aquiring 30 you don't have the feeling of satisfaction you do after finding a perfect equip or a rare scroll, you have the feeling "that took 3x longer than it should have"

I honestly don't think it needs an increase though. They sucked to farm in GMS and suck here. It's only 2x drop here, not like it's super high.

Also getting the teeth is rewarding in the long run. Don't look at simple short term rewards, look at long term gains, AKA a zakum helm. And as someone said, while you're getting the teeth you can collect orbis etc to either sell or use.

 

I think the drop rate is fine we all had to grind threw it and me being a wk at that time I'm pretty slow runnin around I agree with Matt it helps the market and makes eofs and zak more valuable

 

I think the drop rate is fine, especially since it has already been boosted.

I farmed 30 of them on the first week of the wipe at level 90 with a lower drop rate.
And then I bug reported it, and it got boosted.
