I got bored, so I decided to see how many of each class are in the top 500 listed in the rankings. I thought the results were a bit interesting~ Even though I knew Bishops were the most common class, I really didn't think they'd almost be half of the top players. I know why there are so many Bishops, but I have to wonder why wasn't this the case in GMS? (Might've been in other official servers, but from what I recall, Bishops weren't this common in GMS around this server's version.) Do you think this well represents class choices in the server as a whole? Or has a trend changed since these people reached level 200? Also, Paladin's for the win! Represent 1%!
Many long-time/top players are on their second or third or fourth character. Nobody ever "quits" their bishop, so naturally they all hit 200.
The general recommendation is for all new players to make a bishop, then branch off into other classes they like since bishops require the least initial funding. Also 4x exp makes it a lot easier to leech. People probably just never bothered putting in this much work with 1x and 2x rates.
Well from the rankings there was only a 1 difference (8 Shadowers, 9 Marksmen), so that shouldn't say too much for Marksmen and Shadowers overall... but even being so close it is questionable.
I'm wondering why there are more i/l mages than f/p mages. I've been wanting to make a mage but I didn't know which one to pick, idk bout skills but the choice is either a red skill or a blue skill . But after reading the guides of am mages, which are very helpfull btw, I saw that the best training place for both classes is petri's. So I asked myself, why are there more i/l than f/p when f/p damage is higher? Are the other skills for f/p mages les useful or something? Since I assume that freezing won't matter anymore at a higher level.
As it currently is I/L mages are cheaper to play than F/P mages due to a bug, this bug will be fixed in the new source.
Nice charts, when i started playing here, there were not many i/l on the server.. I knew that cos being an i/l myself, we would sometimes bump into other i/l on skele as that was the only place to grind back then.. And it was no suprise that a certain canine friend of mine became the 2nd to reach the 200 milestone.. F/p was kinda rare those days, but now it is growing fast in this server.. And it wud be great to see more Shadower, Pally or MM as there are more players playing now in the server.. Lastly great effort, Cheers Buddy.
Not surprised by the Bishops, bloody everywhere hahaha. But am surprised about the Corsairs. I thought it would be higher because iv seen a lot of them + they are the one of the best, if not THE BEST DPS class. And to that 1% Paladin, I salute you!
I summon the fellow Paladin!! Arise !!! Seriously, i know paladin right now is suk compares to Hero but I would like to see a "God Like" Paladin in action !!!
